Almost 2 months experience solo regional driver. Does it really get better after 6 - 12 months experience? Because CPM ain’t it….

I am in a frightliner Cascadia, and I have optimized idle on with interior comfort mode on too.

So I would use my microwave (700 Watts) and this would start making noises and sometimes the truck would start but there are times it won’t even start is that normal?

So I am little over a month of experience as a solo driver on a regional account, and honestly the weekly checks isn’t adding up to me, especially since we all had to study and go to school to get our CDL License, and the stress than comes with this job on the daily basis than after all that and than seeing the weekly check isn’t adding up and seems like cashiers at grocery stores are mostly likely making about the same or more than us on a weekly check…. I’ve honestly been considering going to my Local IBEW Trades Schools or even going back to college. I thinking giving trucking a chance 1-2 years tops.

Has anyone gone through this experience I have and if so do you have any advice or tips for me?
