Does anyone have any tips for dealing with hand and wrist stiffness?
I've been diagnosed for about 6yrs, but in the last 3+ mths I've noticed having much more problems with typing and general fine motor skills. It's not pain, more like it is a lot harder to get my fingers and hands moving, and it takes more effort. Typing is a real problem; not just slower, but also I have a lot more typos as I can't get my fingers to move to the right place quick enough. And it's unnecessarily exhausting for a task that should be so physically simple!
I have keyboard with low profile easy touch keys (so much less force needed to push down) and I wear thin fingerless gloves that keep my hands warm-ish. But anyone else have any tips and tricks for this?
I'm on tremfya (though we're considering a change because of this worsening hands issue and some sudden nail symptoms). I generally don't take Tylenol or nsaids unless my actual pain is bad, as ... well I don't particularly want to be on them constantly, and I have a deep-seated idea that they are for PAIN and not annoyances (which might be a stupid self-imposed limit I need to get over).
