I permanently deleted some messages in Google Messages, including from the trash/recently deleted section, and I’m wondering if there are any real ways to recover them afterward.

An old partner of mine somehow used to restore messages I deleted within like 10 minutes, but she never explained how she did it.

Does anyone know what’s actually possible with Google Messages on Android? Can deleted texts still be recovered through Google backups, synced devices, carrier records, Samsung/Android cloud backups, forensic software, or anything else after they’ve been permanently deleted? Just trying to understand how it works and whether recovery is realistically possible.
