Only ever seen moose out west and this year I want to change that. Any advice?

Training for rainier I’m usually up in New Hampshire but trying to expand my horizons anything with a lot of vert that is generally difficult and cool.

Looking for a 2 day hike the weekend of the 18th how would you go about breaking up the presi traverse into 2 days. Or is there another better option and I should wait until huts are open. Any advice about logistics of this would be greatly appreciated.
