Ford 1920 SSS
I'm new to tractors, looking at this 1994 Ford 1920 (925 hours). A few questions- first does dmthis seem like a good deal? I think it seems a bit high for a 30 year old tractor, but again, I don't know much about them yet.
I am ok with the manual transmission vs the hydrostat, it actually seems more appealing to me as you get more power out of the tractor, and sounds a bit more fun to use. Looking to use it for maintenance around the house and in our woods, mowing, snow removal, probably some garden work as well.
The main thing I'm a bit worried about is parts availability. Does anyone have one of these and know if the parts are still widely available, and will stay available hopefully for awhile, as I would like to have this tractor for a along time. We are fairly handy on working on machines, but I also have a friend who likes to work on tractors, so the labor side should be alright, just need to know about parts.
Anything else I need to think about? This would be my first tractor, so I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed honestly trying to make sure I can find a good one.
Thanks for looking and any help.
