I just got back my school provided SAT score, I got a 1230, which was a 20 point decrease from my November score, 1250. I had the same math score and 20 points less on the reading. My study routine consisted of doing notes on any YouTube video I could find then taking a practice test. In the days leading up to the test me and friend would take practice tests alongside each other and the go over the questions we got wrong. He ended up getting a 1450. I’m curious what I change in my studying to get up to his score before the June 6th test.

I’ve been running track since I was in 4th grade and I’ve seen progression every year until my sophmore year. Im a hurdler and at the end of my freshman year I was a top 25 9th grader in both the 110 and 300 hurdles for my state. However my times in both events at the end of that year are still my PRs and I’m starting to get frustrated that I’ve remained stagnant for 3 years pretty much, especially considering some of the competition I beat in MS and 9th grade are way faster than me now. Its very possible its a genetics thing because the same thing happened to my dad and sister who both had very good freshman years and then regressed throughout HS, but id like to think this isn’t the case. Does anybody (especially hurdlers) have any tips for getting out of this long slump?
