30YO , paid off all my debts and applied for a secured card and got denied. Checked my credit score and it’s under 550. Am I cooked?
So basically what the title says. I had a great relationship with my bank (BofA) for almost 10 years and had some work and personal issues hit me at the same time so I struggled for about a year to pay debts on time. Everything is finally paid off and I figured I have to start rebuilding somewhere but now I can’t even get a secured card from BOA. I don’t think credit builder loans are the way to go, should I just keep my head down and try again in a few months?
