Advice for United ODVI

Hi all. Corporate drone looking to leave my current career and become an FA. I was just invited to do my UA ODVI and I’m seeking advice on how best to approach it. For context, I am still waiting to hear back from Delta re: my ODVI and, in hindsight, I think I handicapped myself by framing my answers only around examples from my corporate experience. Once I learned the AI and recruiters are looking for answers revolving around the airline’s core values, as well as safety and security, it became evident as to why I’m still under review.

So in the hopes of not making the same mistake twice, I’d love some advice on how to approach UA’s ODVI and what they’re looking for.

Thanks in advance for your kindness and generosity!

Just remember…

It is statistically more difficult to get hired by Delta as a FA than it is to be admitted to Harvard.

The odds are not in anyone’s favor.

Congratulations to those who advanced to F2F. For those who are still waiting, no news is still good news.

Now maybe let’s chill with all the posts about ”WHAT DOES THIS EMAIL MEAN?!” when it’s been answered Ad Nauseam.

Career Changers Report In

Corporate America drone here. Walking away from 10 + years of soul sucking monotony for the chance to live a childhood dream, pay cut be damned.…well, that is if DL hires me.

Anyone else in here leaving something like consulting or B2B SaaS to pursue this?
