I finally finished my training and accepted into Korean Air! It's my dream come true! ✈️

I always wanted to fly around the world ever since I was young. Today, I can finally start chasing my dreams. I want to provide the best hospitality and care while enjoying every flight. 🩷✈️ Sorry I didn't use a flair because KE (Korean Air) is not in the list.

Am I required to quit my job and show a resignation before WN training?

I have a job that I want to stay at and work on my days off at WN. Before anyone comes for me - Yes, I know it will be hard and WN schedule will come first. Yes I know training is a month long and I’d be taking off a month.

Somebody told me on Facebook that they make you provide proof of resignation. I’m not sure if this is true because I know there’s a lot of nurses and teachers who work for WN.

I assume this rule only applies for people working for another airline? I’m wondering how true this statement was because some people said this was a rule and some people said it is not a rule as long as you can take time off at your other job to do training.

Are 🔺 fa going union?

It would probably cause a monopoly of the whole airline becoming union(ramp, techs) but I’m interested in the thoughts and decisions the DL cabin crews think about becoming a union?

Resume help

I have my F2F tomorrow. Instructions say specifically to bring an updated resume.

When I applied I had a CJO for another airline but hadn’t gone to training yet. I’ve since graduated and been flying for a few weeks. Should I add this to the resume now? Or wait to see how the F2F goes and then disclose it prior to background check?

I’m worried they’ll see that I just started at another airline and not take me seriously.

Advice for United ODVI

Hi all. Corporate drone looking to leave my current career and become an FA. I was just invited to do my UA ODVI and I’m seeking advice on how best to approach it. For context, I am still waiting to hear back from Delta re: my ODVI and, in hindsight, I think I handicapped myself by framing my answers only around examples from my corporate experience. Once I learned the AI and recruiters are looking for answers revolving around the airline’s core values, as well as safety and security, it became evident as to why I’m still under review.

So in the hopes of not making the same mistake twice, I’d love some advice on how to approach UA’s ODVI and what they’re looking for.

Thanks in advance for your kindness and generosity!

Getting up while taxiing

Yesterday we we’re leaving Atlanta in some heavy storms and had a ground delay of about an hour. When we lined up in the taxi queue and we were number 36 and while we never shut off our engines, we creeped. About halfway through while we were moving, someone got up to use the bathroom and the flight attendant didn’t say a word. Is this typically allowed? I was surprised. Do they only make people sit once the captain says “flight attendant prepare for departure”?

2nd hang tight

So y’all I’m on my second hang tight email and I should be getting my 3rd in a couple days . Based off the information from last round candidates that kept getting the “ hang tight “ email ; majority of them received “ class filled “ email . Not to be negative bc I was really hopefully at first but nobody has said they received anything after hang tight .. just more hang tights . Meanwhile a lot of ppl are getting invited to event day … what do you guys think ?

Any possible? What you guys think ?

To all QUR applicants who waiting to TF or F2F, do you think that Delta would extend the time of review our applicants? because now i have seen most of us still in QUR and rarely seen people talk about TBNT after ODVI. I think just only 2 months might be too short for them, now the slot in first week of August. So, if they don’t extend, assumed that a ton of TBNT to send out to us. I personally received 2 hang tight and surely people got 3 hang tight already still waiting to hear from them.

LOD Base Changes - New Rules?

I've always read that changing bases is trickier as a LOD, but now you can't attempt to change for two years. Does anyone have any insight into this? It's hard to imagine them not allowing base transfers if another LOD position becomes available at a different base.

Yet another email... 🔺

Just got this email after applying on 6/1, completing the assessment 6/2, completing the ODVI 6/5 and receiving at I think two previous "hang in there" emails. Uggghhhhh.

Best tattoo coverup?

Hey all looking for some tattoo makeup for my F2F… obviously I’ve done the usual Amazon searches, etc. but thought I’d come here and see if anyone has any specific recs they’ve used as a FA or during the hiring process before. Thanks!

Got the TBNT Email today- Delta

Got the email today. I was expecting it. Partly because I only just applied on 6/29, so I felt there were already plenty of great candidates ahead of me! I got the fitme assessment same day 6/29, but then no ODVI. For context, I am a former flight attendant with a regional, but have spent most of my working life in a different unrelated industry (office jobs). I left the regional after 1.5 years because the pay was not sustainable for me at that time, but I LOVED the job! I am older btw. Anyway I thought I would give Delta a shot because the pay could work even though it would be a pay cut from my office job. I just miss flying and how much fun (but also challenging) the work was. Well, I wish you all the best of luck, and if you get the opportunity give it your best! Never be late, always be early, prepared and be your best! Xoxo

🌐United or Delta🔺

So I just got an invite to F2F with United and still waiting on a response from Delta after submitting my ODVI. But curious which airline is everyone’s #1. This is my first year considering this career path, potentially leaving a corporate job. But doing a lot of research on both reserve options and from what I am seeing scheduling is structured like leaning alittle more towards delta but I know there’s more things to consider like union vs non union, pay. Another thing that scares me is how United FAs were underpaid for so long, I’d hate to see that situation happen again in 5 years. But any information/opinions you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated 🤍

**ADVICE PLEASE HELP! Received adverse action email only days away from training UA UNITED

I received an adverse action email and I am absolutely freaking out. I am set to start training this month in about 2 weeks and reading this email sounded like they are rejecting me.

I contacted Accurate Background because of the errors in discrepancies that I have sent in all the required information they needed to correct them: 1 a gap in employment that required a w2 sent in to correct and verification of my high school diploma.

however I received this email and I sent an email to inflight class processing but it’s 4th of July and the weekend so I am assuming I wont hear back until Monday.

i tried to look for a phone number to directly contact inflight processing recruiters but I’m unsure of where to contact immediately to get a clearer understanding of the email and to revise the mistakes Accurate Background has made.

if anyone has any insight or previous experience with Accurate Background and this email, I would appreciate it so much as i have given up everything towards going to training this month and I can’t turn back!

Cjo

My dearest sweet baby Jesus and sweet Mother Guadalupe, my bday is next week. If you both could be so kind as to get me a cjo or move along in the process of a carrier that would be an awesome bday present. Please and thank you!

🔺Delta Timeline

So I understand that they’re backed up and I’m completely fine with that. I usually just check my careers page at least once and my email once a day and I let it go. I’m just trying to see if anybody else has a similar timeline.

Jun /01/ 2026 -Applied
Jun /01/ 2026- completed fitme
Jun /01/ 2026- invited to complete on demand video interview( ODVI )
Jun /05/ 2026- completed on demand video interview (ODVI)
Jun /15/ 2026- high volume email
Jun /25/ 2026- your Delta flight attendant recorded interview is in review.
July/04/2026- Since then, I’ve received no updates is there anybody else who has a similar timeline to this?

ENDEAVOR AIR

When you arrive you’ll be asked to check in, sign and date. Then you’ll give your two forms of ID, fill out a couple of forms (basic information, name, address, SSN) then they’ll have you scan for fingerprints.

After that you will go and sit through a presentation, get to ask questions and then be broken into groups (mine was 6, could be different depending on group size) you’re asked to build a plane lego set, and read announcements in a 15 min time frame.

Communication is key!
Work as a team!

Once you’re done, they will ask you a serious of questions, how’d you communicate ect.

F2F questions are a serious of “name a time when” using STAR method, I can’t remember verbatim what the questions were, but i’m sure you’ll be able to find them somewhere on here.

You’ll then go back to the area where they did the presentation and wait to be called back for your F2F and your requirement “test” which includes you WIPING YOUR HANDS AND WRIST WITH A WET WIPE, taking off your blazer (if you have one) and shoes, to do a height and reach test, as well as a jump-seat test.

They will ask you if you’ve ever been randomly drugged tested randomly for transportation jobs (something along those lines.) You’ll then be free to leave after you’ve completed your F2F and requirement test, be prepared to be there for about 6ish hours give or take when you’re done with your F2F and requirements.

They do get you a Lyft from the location to MSP.

I would like to emphasize if you have ANY tattoos, that are on your upper arm, hidden or can be hidden with the uniform don’t even mention them, this was my first airline interview where they were very invasive with how they check for tattoo(s). They take note of where your tattoos are, what they are, ect. Someone got sent away because of a wrist tattoo that was covered and would’ve been covered even in uniform. If you have hand/finger tattoos I would cover them and be strategic when “wiping” your hands because they are STRICT. Make sure you take out all ear piercings aside from your two lower lobes and make sure you have small studs or very very small hoops, one nose STUD is okay, but they will notate how many piercings you have even if you don’t have them in (the lady counted my ear piercing holes, even tho I took them all out, crazy.)

Everyone always says “be yourself” yes, but it’s hard to do so when everyone is staring at your and asking you questions, but be prepared, dress for success, best case for women is to wear a black or navy pants suit, or dress pants, white button up, blazer with closed toe shoes! DO NOT USE YOUR PHONE. The amount of people on their phones was crazy, and some even had airpods! SILENCE it before you walk into the building, talk, make friends and smile :)

They do offer a few snacks, candy and water!

Those are all the things I wish I would’ve found prior to my interview.

Good Luck!
