Hi everyone, sorry for the long post!
I got my cto from united but the night before I was suppose to leave on the plane for training I got sick to the point I couldn’t leave the restroom. I did send a short email to one of their emails that’s in charge of flights just saying I had a circumstance come up and wouldn’t be on that flight. Later the next day when I finally was able to sit up on my computer I sent another email to one of the other emails that deals with classes the more in depth reason for not being able to join the class I was in. I figured regardless they would rescind my offer since it was so late, my flight left relatively early, and I didn’t go to urgent care bc costs.
I still haven’t received an email (assuming I won’t which is completely understandable) and I’m just worried I won’t be able to reapply next year when they open again. I am upset since it’s hard to even get to the training part but hopefully I’ll be able to get my chance again and just not leave the house for two weeks before training lol.
If anyone has been through something similar I would love to hear what you did/ if it mattered with later applications. I was thinking of applying to AA when they open but again I spent the first half of this yeardoing united interviews and did enjoy the company overall.
