Hey yall, im trying to get into Iguana Hunting with air guns. I was recommended to buy a Gamo .22, and am on a budget. Which of there models will do the trick for Iguanas? Is it better to get a higher power one like 1,300 FPS for in case you don’t have elite accuracy?
I’m applying for proof of Canadian citizenship by descent and need to document an ancestor who was born in eastern Quebec in 1880.
I currently have a digital copy of the parish register showing her birth and baptism. My understanding is that Quebec birth, marriage, and baptismal documents issued before January 1, 1994 are generally not accepted for a citizenship-certificate application, and that I need a newer document issued by the Directeur de l’état civil du Québec.
My question is about the process:
Can I submit the application to the Directeur de l’état civil using the information from my current unofficial parish-register copy, including the parish, date, parents’ names, and place of registration?
Or must I first pay BAnQ for a certified archival copy of the parish register, wait to receive it, and then send that certified copy to the Directeur de l’état civil so they can issue the modern birth document?
The Directeur’s form asks for the parish or place where a pre-1994 birth was registered, but I cannot tell whether a certified copy of the old register must also be submitted.
I have almost everything else ready for my citizenship application and just want to confirm the correct order before spending several hundred dollars. Thank you!
I live in South Florida near Kendall and I’m looking to get into hunting green iguanas with an air rifle.
From what I’ve read, I know I can’t just go to any park or public area and do it. My understanding is that FWC allows iguana removal on certain Wildlife Management Areas, and the closest one to me seems to be the Everglades & Francis S. Taylor WMA.
I’m a little confused about how it actually works, though. It doesn’t seem like I can just go into the natjonsl park entrance and blast away …. Does anyone know anything about the rules? I’ve been stumped searching online.

And Where in the WMA are you most likely to actually find iguanas?
I’m preparing proof-of-citizenship applications through descent for myself and close family members.
A U.S. naturalization certificate stating that the ancestor was from Canada, An official U.S. marriage record stating that the other ancestor was born in Canada, and everything to connect them to me.
However, the only Canadian record we have is a faint image of an 1880 Quebec parish baptismal register. It is readable enough to identify the person, but it is not a newly certified copy. I’ve attached it.
Contacted the place via their website and never got a reply. How are the odds looking
