One handed shooting - Tips

Hello fellow shooters! I figured I'd swap out the longer barrel and carbine stock to switch the CP2 back into pistol mode, for a change. Since I don't really have any prior experience with 10-meter air pistol shooting—one-handed, as tradition dictates—do you have any tips?
To start off, I’d practice at 10 meters, and later move on to 15 and 20 meters, just for fun. What kind of realistic results can I expect in terms of group sizes (I know scores are usually measured in points) at those distances?
If any of you have ever measured groups with actual competition match pistols, even better—just so I can compare it to my hobby-target pistol CP2 😁

Silencer recommendations

So after adding a new stock, X3 magnifier and a new pistol grip, I'm thinking of getting a different silencer. Something around 100mm in length and will look the part. So I'm looking for some good recommendations if anyone has any ideas. 😊

New to airguns. Daystate Huntsman Mk. II

Hey all.

So I was just thinking that I needed an airgun on my homestead over here in Asia. Squirrels are eating up my fruits n whatnot.

I wanted to ask you guys for your knowledge and wisdom. If I were to buy this air gun, it easy to repair? Is there any specific important maintenance I need to do, storage conditions etc etc.

I don't think spare parts are accessible in my country at all. I'll only use it 2 times a year during fruit season for squirrels. Will the gun outlast me? It's preowned and converted about $340usd

(I've used an air rifle 5 years ago on a fruit farm specifically hunting squirrels so I have a tiny bit of experience)

Thanks for the help!

Artillery Hold Mastery with Perfect posture.

Perfect! I think I have mastered artillery hold and I'm able to hit thing relatively far away. The breathing is a little tricky definitely, hard to not breath while maintaining the elegant position.

I'm using the TX200 MK3 with airmax compact optic. Very cool.

Another question for the group

So I have been looking at three different .25 caliber air rifles and I’m curious if anyone has any experiences they would like to share about them to help me understand which may be the best choice for me. This would be my first PCP ( have used airguns for some time but just stuck to my .22 break barrel for years) and I intend to hunt.

JTS Airacuda max .25
AEA sf standard .25
AirForce escape SS .25

Any thoughts and opinions on these rifles or some that may be comparable would be incredibly helpful. Thank you

shooting the daisy 880 with my new scope to celebrate the fourth!

had to adjust windage to quite a bit down on the left side, but it’s hitting a tiny steel target from
50 feet now!

quite the upgrade from iron sites.

Cheers from Maine

Daisy model 93 MK22 "hush puppy" build

Work in progress. Base gun is a old school Daisy Powerline 93 4.5mm, I ghetto rigged a 1/2-20 adapter and used a short 3d printed moderator. The real Mk22 was a Smith and Wesson model 39 fitted with a suppressor for use by special forces in Vietnam

Co2 Pistol Lube Question.

Just took apart my brother’s Sig Sauer 226 Co2 pellet pistol. His mag was stuck & I ended up clearing 10 pellets from the internal barrel.

My question is, what kind of lube should I use on the internal parts? Also, what parts should I lube? I only remember the internal barrel feeling heavily lubricated, but the parts have been sitting out for a day so I’m not sure if anything else was lubed when I took it apart.

Any and all additional info on the cleaning and care of this pellet pistol is greatly appreciated.

(I have a break barrel pellet rifle too, I heard nothing really needs done with them unless you see a loss in power or accuracy. Is that true?)

Mas estou me acostumando. O chumbinho que mais deu certo foi o LDW dome e o rifle dome.

Question for the group

I’m curious to know if anyone has any advice/ any information regarding my situation. I’m currently looking for a pcp in .25 that isn’t incredibly heavy. For hunting purposes I plan to use said rifle for hogs and originally was interested in the airscuda max, but looking into the weight made me reconsider a bit. I don’t want a ten pound set up to be lugging around in the swamps I live, but I can’t seem to find any consistent information on lighter weight pcps.

Thank you

Got a stable table lite, seems the table is way too low

I'm still getting aquatinted with my R9, not even zeroed in yet, I'm new to shooting. I had been using a platform that I made using 3/4 plywood and 2x4s on top of two sturdy saw horses, and a drumming throne. I felt like I didn't have the height quite right no matter what I did, and I wanted a dedicated shooting bench to free up the sawhorses/ new outdoor table. The Caldwell stable table light seemed like a decent option. The seat doesn't adjust at all, I tried getting set up on it and I had to hunch down so far I couldn't pocket the butt, it just hits my collar bone, and obviously was not comfortable. It has good reviews, am I missing something? I could build up the top again with 2x4 and plywood, but that entirely defeats the purpose.

I'm also just frustrated in general with the situation. It's generally hard for me to become comfortable, I'm young but I feel like I have an issue with my joints. I've tried doing a lot of research about the ideal height of the sea and table, the delta of those, delta of scope when resting on the front mount and my eye when sitting up straight, and there's absolutely no consistent answers. It seems some people shoot sitting nearly straight up, and some people are doing yoga. And like I said, I have trouble figuring this stuff out, like I have a newish (2023) car and I can't get the seat too comfortable position for the life of me. I feel like I'm putting all this effort in and have no idea if I'm even going in the right direction. Any advice at all? Thanks

Umarex HPP jammed on first shot

BB rolled out and slide has jammed back on the first shot. I don’t think I’ve done anything stupid (after reading through the manual) - although this is my first time using an air pistol

Have removed the magazine and co2 cartridge.

Any suggestions?
