I absolutely NEEEEED one of those!

After some research i'm debating between these 3 models.

Things to consider:

- my main targets will be flies and "brown marmorated stink bug", for the second i think having more firing power would be advisable and so, which one of these 3 guns is more deadly? 😅

The ugly "lawn & garden" literally states shooting a "larger load", i guess that means it is more deadly than the "Advanced combat" right? But is it more deadly than the "Widow maker 3.5"? 🤔

• The "Advanced combat" has fiber optic sighting, i think i misunderstood that at first, this isn't a laser pointer like on the widow maker 3.5 right? If not how is that better than the normal sighting?

Bonus question: if i need more power do you think is possible to mod them like replacing the spring with a stiffer one?

Any experience or suggestions?

Been having a blast down at my local club the past month, I decided to actually get myself a gun after all the members was kind enough to let me try all of theirs.

I decided on the Reximex S .177 after shooting it a few times and it falling in my budget with a 3l tank factored into price.

Was my first time at a gun shop today and they treated me really well, was very friendly and I look forward to going back to look at rifles.

Today bought left handed grip gamo compact for 60€!

It came to me in a fever dream. It's basically an Avera with a Barra 1866 rifled barrel adapted to it and a side folding stock stuck on to it. I couldn't find any other examples like it, so I think it may truly be one of a kind.

Decided to re tune my pcp (Pinty striker) to these new pellets walmart has gotten. I had tuned it to the crossman premiers 14.3s as they were easier to get instead of waiting a week for pellets through the mail. Ive missed heavier pellets as the 14.3 premiers would wander at 40+ with any kinda wind. For 10 bucks an I can simply go to walmart an buy em, I cant complain they did phenomenal. Ive gotten good at tuning this pinty. I shot at a tea light candle at 38 yards out, with a 5 shot group, i usually do a 10 shot group but after the 5th shot I didnt hear anything but the pellet hitting the wood so I went an investigated. Ive made updates everytime I post about this pinty.

Its on its 5th barrel cleaning, I was doing barrel cleaning every 500 shots but after the 3rd cleaning I started washing my pellets which resulted in less of a dirty barrel so now I clean whenever I feel like it as it hasn't been bad since washing pellets. Id estimate lil over 5k shots have been put through it, half a year owning it, its my pest gun for the truck, or when I go squirrel hunting its my go to. No issues all original seals still. Ready to dial it in at 50 yards as thats what i usually shoot at.

Just got me a Weihrauch HW99S in .177 flavour to accompany my Reximex Lyra K, looking forward to the range!

So I got my hands on a BlackWolf Zero last week and finally got around to some pellet testing - I am over the moon and extremely excited for the future. Especially after the barrel leads in and the rifle settles a little. And then when I get my hands on the barrel tensioner system and then fit up my 0db harmonic tuner - this little girl should prove quite interesting (this was an entire 13 round mag put through each)

As my Rattie was in bits, I did a little mod on the air valve; removed a few threads to increase the gas chamber. I already have a slightly bigger port, adjustable hammer spring, steel breech, extended bolt, longer barrel and am now wondering what power it is 🤔

There's only 1 shop near me and they re-sell AliEx gear so I wondered if anyone had tried something like this:

My ultimate plinkster as i like to call it. It's an Air Arms S200 or here it's known as the CZ 200S. It's a .177.

I was getting a little sick of shooting soda cans and apples so I picked this up at Walmart! Do you guys have any recommendations for alternate .177 targets?

“Crosman Spinning Targets”

Took a squirrel at 25 yards using my JTS Airstrike .22 pushing the new Walmart-stocked Hades at roughly 860 fps.

The shot was quartering towards me. The pellet entered behind the front shoulder, traveled diagonally through the body, and lodged in the opposite hip without passing through.

Upon inspection, the recovered pellet expanded by only about 0.5 mm over normal diameter.

Despite substantial penetration across nearly the entire length of the animal, the lead alloy on these newer Walmart runs seems fairly hard. If you are expecting massive energy dump or mushrooming, you might be disappointed. They are acting much more like standard domed field pellets at this velocity.

Anyone else noticing harder lead batches on the newer retail packs?
