I was getting a little sick of shooting soda cans and apples so I picked this up at Walmart! Do you guys have any recommendations for alternate .177 targets?

For context, I’m considering using 15.42 grain wadcutters at roughly 750 FPS to take rats and other small game. Would this provide a humane kill?
Pistol: “Air Venturi V10”.
Pellets: “Daisy Flat Nose .177” (7.56 GR).
So we all know the “purpose” of each caliber, as I’m sure we’ve all heard the phrase “.177 for feathers, .22 for fur”. But I’m more interested in which caliber is more inherently accurate since there’s an argument to be made for each.
Spent a portion of this evening killing cans with my “Norica Dream Hunter” (.22)
I’m still highly impressed with the damage that a single .22 pellet can do at this range, although my last shot only skimmed the top of the final can.
All shots were made with iron sights at roughly 45 yards. Pellet used was the “H&N Spitzkugel” (16.05 GR).
So it’s been a couple of days, and I’ve had some time to clean off the excess factory oils and put 75 pellets through the gun to test it out. I must say that this is an excellent piece of engineering by Norica and for the price ($250 USD) it’s one of the few under-levers out there that won’t break the bank.
Accuracy with the iron sights is exceptional (I was consistently nailing soda cans at 40-50 yards with the iron sights.) and the rifle hits HARD at a maximum of 820 FPS in .22! It has the power for casual plinking or basic pesting / small-game hunting.

So I just got my Norica Dream Hunter yesterday and I absolutely love it but I’m curious what other underlevers come in .22 and also feature iron sights, in case I’d like to upgrade someday.

I’m a bit of a 1911 nerd so I definitely had to pick up one of these. Very excited for its arrival next month, as I’ve had good QA experiences with Air Venturi in the past.
Curious if this is a humane kill with a headshot because it’s the only airgun I have.
