Ima let it soak in kroil tonight an give it a go tmw but an advice? Was thinking maybe put the pin in a vise best i can an using a rubber mallet to tap the barrel to see if it realeses.

Single sundown sav2 15 on a taramps smart 3k bass.

New setup isnt doing bad after learning what the sub likes, got it tuned to 50 vac so its eating 2500 watts full tilt. Its been doin great but im also not listening 24/7 full tilt lol. No smell not stupid hot after 2 or 3 songs full tilt so ill take it. Big 3, dual batterys, all 0 guage, 250amp alt under the hood. Next is enclosure, sad to say but its in a skar prefab thats about 2.6cf after sub, tuned to 35hz. Floats small stuff like paper, bags, recipes. Im happy for now but cant wait for better custom box.

Box suggestions?

Its time for a new box, this has been a budget build all the way around. So dont judge on the current box lol, it absolutely pounds at 34/40hz but I love the 25hz the sub doesnt in the current box. What should I go with for all around good bass, I want some thatll still hit 35hz an dig deep down to 25hz so a box tuned around 28hz? An should I build it where the port is big to get better range/wind?

This isnt full tilt as its night time lol neighbors are pretty far an truly dont care but I dont wanna change that.. im planning on getting another 15 but that could be a year from now for all ik.

Current setup is a sundown sa v2 15, wired down to 1ohm on a taramps smart 3k bass, im over rms but got it set to around 2500 watts rms (49. Some vac) 250amp h/o alt, big three an dual batterys under the hood, voltage stays at 14. Box is tuned to 35hz, with sub inverted box is like 2.6cf which is too small. Sounds stupid good rings your ears, floats baby stuff like paper, receipts, an grocery bags. Juat want some to dig lil lower but keep the 35hz that you feel in your eyeballs an throat lol. Never been good at figuring box tuning an all that out so ill be buying a blueprint from someone with the details I want an figured ask for help as I dont have the best knowledge on enclosures, ik enough to build a box thatll sound good just not build one thatll do what i want lol.

Baby Bowie

New here, ive got a bunch of knives ranging from china, usa, junk, quality, walmart, an so on an so on. Seen this one at a buckys while on vacation an picked it up ive seen someone post about one a while back on reddit so I knew what I was buying, edge was horrible an dull, wasnt even an edge goin toward the guard so thats the first thing i did was give it a new edge with a bigger bevel as i want it to be sharpan able to simply slice. Haven't used it yet but im intending it to be a boot carry so im unsure how durable the steel is as of right now, ive heard its decent steel. Ima go at it this upcoming days on reworking the profile of the guard an handle as it doesnt sit well in the hand. But overall ive bought worse for 50 bucks, an i love simply tinkering with something into something better

Just sharing my opinions!

This is all I see in my area....

I love buyin used but hate having to drive 2/3 hours for actual prices that make sense... the standard used audio is 50% is no longer thought of as people think they have some worth double what it cost new. I usually dont bother messaging but sometimes you get lucky an there like "oh I didn't know" an come to there senses but thats like 1/100 so ive given up looking at local sells half the time..

Am I over powering it

I bought this sundown sa v2 an finally got around to installing it, got it on a taramps smart 3k. Sounds good stupid loud but noticed after goin full tilt for about 5 min I started to slightly smell burning lol. Voltage never dips below 14v an ac voltage set to 53 some volts so its seeing a healthy amount of power, i bought it used but they had it in a power wheels build an stated they only used it for 2 shows on a 1k. So question is am I over powering it or am I smelling that new burn off smell lol. Wired to 1ohm an gains are set properly no bass boost bs. Ik im way over rms but ive heard of other people clamping 6k on one an bein fine. First sundown ive ever owned.

Pinty striker update

Was getting tired of buying pellets online an figured id lower the hammer spring tension to shoot the crossman premiers 14.3s as you can get em from walmart. Before tuning the pinty striker 22cal, it didnt like ANYTHING below 18 grains. Yes the qualtiy of pellets arent the best but as long as i look at em before loading them I can filter through the defects an shoot the ones that are uniform. 8 bucks for 500 of em beats the 14 dollars i was spending on just 200 count of 21 grain. I still got lil more tuning to do as I dont have no chrono its simply goin off shot groupings. Ive gotten the groups tighter an really finding the sweet spot for these crossmans, these groups are out at 50 yards light wind. 1st photo is where it started then 2nd is even less hammer spring tension an 3rd is prolly where im goin to keep it, that second photo is 2 magazines(18 shots) as i was debating on keeping it there but consistency wasnt what i like, glad I dialed it down even more as the 3rd photo is a 10 shot grouping. Barrel seems to like to be cleaned every 500 shots or so, doesnt loose much consistency at 25 yards but anything beyond that with a dirty barrel it gets flyers bout 2 inches from center. Probably will polish the barrel this weekend as it simply wouldnt hurt it. Shot a few shots at about 75 yards an groups are bout 2inches so hopefully I can tighten it up after polishing. Still recommend the pinty as its had lil over 2k rounds through it so far.

Needing some opinions.

Ive had this ap quad stack 15 for a while been under powered for a good while running on bout 800 rms at 2ohms, been slowly upgrading electrical. Finally got to a point of adding a taramps smart 3 bass in, im using a loc (pac sni-35) ive ran this type of converter forever. When i first installed the taramps smart 3 I ran into a issue of the amp simply not playin the sub loud, at first it wasnt playing any lows, the box is peaking around 35, when first hooked up it was peaking around 40s, disconnected my bass knob, an it started playing lows again, just not with authority as it used to an overall bass wasnt really like it was. Ive tried diffrent configs with the pac as running it to front speakers(helped it a smidge) double checking wiring an lpf an hpf on amp with no luck, its a smidge louder on higher notes then it is with the 800 rms ive been running. Is this due to the loc simply not giving enough voltage through the rcas to wake the amp up? Its also a dirty not as clean signal as i can tell then what im used to. Im really expecting the loc to be my culprit just wanted to get extra opinions, I mean before id have the wipers blades jumping an now they sitting still lol. Do I go with a lc2i? 0 guage wiring, 250 amp alt, 2 big batterys under hood, big 3 done. Stock radio as well.. Just want this amp to be at its potential...

THANK YOU TO WHOEVER HELPS.

50 yard group

2nd photo is 50 yards then walked back roughly another 10 so 55/60 yards for the 3rd photo, both groups were with 10 rounds. Its a Pinty striker shooting the H&N barracuda 21.14gr. Need to dial in my breathing as ik some of them shots are lil off due to me. Still liking the pinty striker an prolly have put close to another 1k pellets through it since my last post. Only cleaned the barrel once need to do it again as groupings were tighter. Still not bad tho! Still waiting on the funds to get the notos tho!

Tuned???

Edit: it is tuned it ran 135 against a 14 seirra single cab. Was bout head to head til 60 an i pulled away almost a car length till 110 an then pulled away like we wasnt racing after that.

Faster then my buddys tahoe an was wondering if its tuned. Ive had plenty of gmt800s but never a gmt900. She sitting at 250k. I traded my boat for this 07 tahoe an it feels like it has some decent get up an go, It sounds healthy no ticking or anything out of the normal. Has o2 sensor codes an a brake sensor code everything else is in working condition. All in all cant complain but was just wanting some feedback on people who own these. Are they all peppy, if i floor it from a dead stop itll simply light the tires up, has a 3in level on 33s. No cats an a exhaust is all that i know is on it. One of those deals where he looked at the boat an said sure an i looked at the tahoe an said sure. I came on top as I only paid 2k for the boat an he was asking 5k for the tahoe.

Pinty striker .22

New to the whole pcp, ive had nun but springers. I was shooting a gamo swarm 10x gen 2 for a while. Didn't like the consistency what so ever. I could sight it for 30 an it'd be horribly off at 15 or anything above what it was sighted in at. I ended up getting the pinty striker after watching many reviews an seeing alot of good, paired with a bushnell 4-12x40 scope. So far im truly amazed at what it can do. Ill have to take photos of grouping at 50 yards but there dime size with jts dead center 25 grains. Ive put a lil over thousand pellets through it an its been nun but a good pcp, i get around 35/40 shots consistently per fill. Wouldnt mind getting a notos eventually but for now this pinty striker can do everything I want. I dont have any experience other then this one for pcp but for people on a budget id definitely recommend it, comes with a stage 3 hand pump, not terrible to pump either takes around 50 or so pumps from almost half fill to get it in the red. I bought a compressor so only used it like twice tho.
