Is there any good air gun from Colt?
It started with my Smith & Wesson and later my Steyr getting a big smoky brother.
Now I'm expecting a Colt in 45ACP and it would be nice/funny if he could get a little sister.
Only real Colt, not a "softair" replica. And should be a good shooter
Any ideas/hints what to look for?
A while ago I read about gloves that should help people to move their hands again e.g. after a stroke.
They were so successful that people learned to play keyboard/piano at least at a basic level just by using this gloves and training hand memory.
My question is, does someone know more about it?
Is there an open source project for something like this?
I had a hand operation 2 weeks ago, the other hand will follow sooner or later and I am curious what is possible.
Fant bygningen midt i skogen
Hva kan det være? Gammal svartbrenneri?
Åpen for bud"
Looks like not really OK, what should I change?
Printed with PLA for a while,.first time PETG from Elegoo.
Dried before using for 12 hours in filament dryer
I had a problem with my Hawken .45 at the range.
The bullet was stuck about 5cm from the muzzle, I took the wrong patch and there were already a little "leftovers" in the barrel.
As the others shoot modern, noone had a bullet puller.
I decided to give it a go, as the powder was compressed with a tight sitting wad. Used a rope for trigger release and all went well.
Question: is it save to shoot, when something like this happens again? As long as a wad is holding the powder tight together?
Or is there the danger to blow the barrel?
I want to try to cast my ammunition myself, as I am already doing it for black powder guns.
9mm FX ammo says .357
If I buy .38 special mold it is .358
If I buy 9mm Luger mold it will be .356
What is better/will work?
Anyone tried this before?
WTF?
I am getting a little annoyed about the mimosa printer breaking the filament and jamming the print head.
I had it several times, the filament for a week or so on the printer, starting a new job and crack, the filament breaks while printing and always right under the intake of the print head
To unjam the cooler has to be removed, the print head assembly unscrewed and the head with the heating element pulled out.
As the 2 screws for the removing are on the backside of the head assembly, there is no way around removing all the screws.
This sucks extremely.
Is there a mount that turns the print head 180 degrees, that one can access those screws or another trick to get those rests out of the way and unclog the nozzle?

Le Page with 25grs black powder and a .36 roundball with about 68 grains

My 1.9tdi lost suddenly power and makes a metal banking noise from the motor
Stopped it and not tried to start again.
The weird thing, there is no unusual smoke, no control lamp and the register belt looks OK and tight (had the idea that it could have hopped one tooth)
Any ideas what this could be?
Hawken will be taken to the range tomorrow.
Soaking cal.45 felt plugs in Vaseline. But only one side, the other stays dry.
The Vaseline side is facing the powder and holds the barrel quite clean. As the other side is dry, it can not stick to the bullet, no spoiling of the flight path.
Tested in my LaPage pistol, it made a big difference in (not) cleaning and now I will be trying it with the rifle
