Will my sex drive ever come back?

45, been in perimenopause for about two years. I have been a pretty sexual person most of my life. I’ve always enjoyed it, desired it. Then one day, about a year ago, it just stopped cold. I miss the intimacy and the tenderness but absolutely zero desire. There is no motivation. Will it come back? I was on HRT for a bit for other perimenopause things, but it had no effect on that. This whole process has been hard for me, I feel like I turned into an old woman over night. I’m sad to think my sex life may be over too. So, will it come back?

Give us a Phantom movie we all can get excited about

I see these murmurs of a new ALW movie. And let me just say it was the musical/story of my youth. I adore it. To say it will always hold a special and sacred place in my heart and soul is an understatement. But, I also feel like we have what we need from it. I don’t love the Gerard Butler version, but it’s there. And of course it continues on stage, which is how it was meant to be experienced (and of which an outstanding version you can stream.) I want something new on film. Maybe a movie version of Susan Kay’s outstanding novel? How about a well written movie? A movie that without constantly breaking into songs allowing for more character building and context? The closest we have to it is say is the Charles Dance movie, which I also love. But we are ready for more. Give me more Erik, less sweeping show stoppers. Can you imagine, with the right writers, the gorgeous aching things he’d say? I want that movie.
