Is it hard to make close friends in medschol

Genuine question. I had a hard time with this during my premed. It was only during my second year i felt like i belonged to a group 🥺 I’m more fluent in english than Tagalog to be real (i was born abroad) and people always jokingly tell me that they dont want to talk to me because i speak english. Even as a joke, i feel like there’s some truth to that. I understand tagalog naman but english is my default and i dont expect people to speak it to me.

Even as an intern in my fourth year, i was constantly labeled the englishera, cointerns and staff would tell me how they didnt want to talk to me at first. Im towards the end of my internship and ive had most of my lunches alone. My cointerns are friendly to me naman but i didnt get to make close friends with them during my internship.

Anyways hahah i faced this during my premed and im nervous to go through this again now that im accepted into med

Help! Would you consider mapua som if wanting to proceed to residency?

Genuine question. Right now, mapua is one of my top choices but considering its new, im wondering what that could implicate for those wanting to proceed to residency. Residency js my ultimate goal kaya im hesitating if mapua is the school for me

Ps: there’s lots of reasons why mapua is top of my list. First, its very accessible to me and i wouldnt need to commute. Second, i can stay with family so i have emotional support while in med. It seems like the most logical choice but im thinking longterm if it would be harder for me to apply as a resident coming from a school with a relatively new background

Panoxyl facewash not working

I started using the 4% late April and have not had major success since using the product. During the first 2 weeks, i was breaking out more than usual, although i thought it was normal and that i was just “purging”
Fast forward to end of may and i still have acne (although lesser than when i started) and pie from previous breakouts. I’m starting to lose faith because my skin was relatively clearer before I used panoxyl entirely

Is this my sign that the product is not for me? Or should i keep going as this is completely normal? I’ve been seeing posts say that panoxyl has been a saving grace for them, pls share your routines and insights

The facewash was expensive hahah but my graduation is in a month so i want to clear up my skin as much as possible

Skin Type: combination
Age/Gender: 22F

Current Skincare Routine:
Am:
Luxe organix centella toner
Cosrx snail mucin all in one cream
Belo dewy sunscreen

Pm:
Panoxyl 4%
345 doctor althea cream
