❤️ Things I’m Loving So Far
Cool animations & glassy effects across the overall UI.
Lots of new themes with some really cool effects.
New Pet Pal 🐾
You can now adjust the intensity of the glass blur, similar to iOS 27. (I also have an iPhone 17, so I can compare both.)
You can now use Dark Icons, and honestly, they look really good! 🖤
You can now add stickers to your Home Screen, and there’s a whole bunch of sticker collections to choose from. 🥹✨
⚠️ Issues & Things I’m Not Happy With
Slight heating — the phone seems to be getting a little warmer than usual.
A bit of lag/stutter here and there. I was honestly expecting the UI to feel more fluid.
Battery backup — too early to comment. I need to use it for a while before I can give a proper verdict.
A lot of the widgets from the Chinese ROM are missing. It feels like they haven’t brought over the full widget selection.
The widgets that are available seem more like redesigned versions with the new glassy aesthetic, rather than completely new or significantly improved widgets.
No significant changes to the Camera app. Even the Camera UI looks almost identical to OriginOS 6, which is a little disappointing considering this is a major OS update.
If I notice anything else during my usage, I’ll definitely report it here.
These are just my initial impressions. I’ll continue using ORIGINOS 7 Beta and share more updates as I discover new features, improvements, and bugs.
