What is the point of letting students bring their own cheat sheet but it must only contain formulas and each sheet must be thoroughly checked before the exam? The TA is so damn lazy that he just used one of the formula sheets that a student emailed to him to ask if it was okay as the template in the course announcement because so many people were asking him. JUST MAKE YOUR OWN FORMULA SHEET FOR YOUR STUDENTS TO USE??

Also the 35% mid-term was filled with just reworded questions from the question bank, I'm guessing the 40% finals won't be any different.

In addition, the 25% iLab only permits one submission, and let's be honest we all know that wasn't on purpose, he's just too lazy to change it. So essentially if you submit an assignment a few days early but submitted the wrong file, he does not allow any resubmissions, causing many students to raise in the QnA forum if there are any alternative solutions, once again, he did not reply to a single one.

Hey all! I'm 23, based in the Inner West, and looking to expand my friend circle — always feels like the right people are out there, just haven't crossed paths yet.

A bit about me: I'm outgoing, easygoing, and love a good conversation about pretty much anything. Dance is a big part of my life — I'm in the dance community and that's actually how I met my girlfriend, who's usually along for the ride with most of what I'm into. Outside of that, I'm big into the gym, gaming, and studying at UNSW during the week. Used to be a regular at raves but haven't been in a while, keen to get back into that scene if the right group comes along. Also love movies, dogs and animals in general, and I've been getting into bouldering lately along with other sports when I can. 420 friendly too.

Looking for people to go clubbing with, hit the gym, go bouldering, game, or just hang out and see where it goes, just genuinely keen to build some solid friendships. My girlfriend's usually happy to tag along too, so it's an easy package deal if you're open to that!

Essentially I had pretty severe food poisoning that affected me during my final exam on 5/5/2026. I submitted a Special Consideration application with a medical certificate covering the relevant dates, but while I was sick I accidentally selected the wrong course code in the application.

The application then sat “under review” for ages, so I genuinely thought it was still being processed normally. Because of that, I later emailed the course convenor asking about supplementary exam arrangements assuming everything was still active.

I only received the final review outcome today (27/5), and they rejected it entirely on procedural grounds saying the wrong course code was selected.

What’s frustrating is that the actual illness itself was genuine and documented, but it feels like the entire decision just came down to technicalities instead.

Has anyone here ever submitted a formal complaint/appeal to UNSW over something like this and actually had it work out?
