I love these shoes and I bought them not even a year ago and they're already like swiss cheese
The bottom shelf on my lazy Susan is wobbly and has been for years. The bolt to tighten the bottom shelf appears to have broken off at the top so I can't tighten it out replace it.
Additionally, when I looked under the shelf there was a pile of metal shavings (that I vacuumed up). It appears there is a screw sticking up from the bottom of the cabinet that is slowly shaving the metal shelf base as it turns. See photos.
How can I remove the broken pieces? Can I replace parts or will I just need to replace the entire thing?
Thanks in advance!
How many ___________ does it take to screw in a light bulb?
Well, it’s certainly more than the two adults who live in my home. Halp!
I’ve tried adjusting and tightening whatever I can but still no luck. Is there something inside I need to tighten? If so, where? I’m going crazy trying to figure this out! Haha
I'm a nanny, I'm at work, we were just about to go to the park when one of the kiddos handed me the doorknob. I've been on my belly in the foyer using my phone flashlight, no spindle shaft to be found, and I didn't hear it hit the floor, I was in the hall approaching the door when it came off.
Tried to hide some keys by balancing it on the top like I usually do, this time it fell inside (i didn’t even know it would be hollow). How can I get them back?? The metal is magnetic. Please help
The bottom of my moms dresser broke so now I am employed to fix it.
I can’t for the life of me get these pieces separated to change the bulb, I must be missing something. Anyone have any ideas?
Was so blessed to get this Johnston & Murphy leather briefcase and want to try to get the price off the front 🥲 any suggestions ? Thank you guys !!!
I broke the top to this beautify trinket dish. Are there any strong adhesives I should use that will work well on vintage glass? Uv, epoxy, etc.? Would a Glass Art Studio be a helpful place for a repair?
I am replacing the showerhead attachment. When I loosen the showerhead holder, I am seeing this metal ball ending. My question is this a separate part from the metal pipe that comes out of the wall? If so, can I safely remove at the part indicated by the red arrow?
Here are three pictures of the top of two columns. Originally wanted to remove the two columns that are in the middle of our living room. This is what it looks like after opening the wall in the ceiling directly above the columns. The columns look to be weight bearing, correct?
Hate this textured glass in the bathroom and want it off because it blocks so much natural light. Just moved into this place.
Already tried a steamer and don’t see a good place to peel anything off.
This tile grows mold like crazy. It's porous and textured, I think the previous owners put it in the shower to prevent an elderly lady to slip, thought it seems to be an exterior type of tile.
We plan to renovate the whole bathroom in about two years so I would like to fix this without having to redo the tiling now.
I hope there is a sealant, resin, paint or something we can cover it with to prevent the tiles from being filthy. Please help
Edit: I do clean regularly with bleach, and it goes away. But it grosses me out having freaking mold all the time, normal tiles would never have this issue. Also cleaning products get stuck in the stone, so they never really look (nor are?) really clean
I’m assuming the discoloration is from water damage. It started a couple years back and occasionally gets bigger. Not steadily, just like after a year it will be a bit bigger. My suspicion is that it’s damage water that very rarely trickles down due from the shower, as it’s directly below it.
My question is two-fold. Just how do I identify the source of the leak? I included a couple pictures of the edge of the shower. Do I just buy sealant and fill it in? Is that a possibility or should I like cut open the wet spot and see what’s above it? Is mold a concern?
The second use for fixing the spot itself. Is it like drywall patch or do I need to buy like a whole sheet rock of the same size and replace a big hunk of my ceiling?
At the furthest point the discoloration is about 7 inches from end to end.
I’m not even sure who to call if I were to hire a professional! If it’s something small though, I’d like to do it myself!
I want to ship a sex toy to my partner. The thing is, I want it to be obvious what it is. Brown kraft paper and stamps? Is that legal? We like to embarrass each other. Makes things fun.
