I’d like some recommendations for exploring Northampton and surrounding communities. I’d like to have an awesome lunch at someplace casual, do some clothes shopping, and maybe visit a gallery or two. I’m interested in boutiques or higher in consignment stores as well as used bookstores that might stock art or photography books. Please clue me in to places with artsy or unique vibes. Thanks.

I have been working in Paris (actually, in Neuilly) for the last week and have a free day to explore. I’ve been here several times and have been to all the major, central sites so I am looking for something off the beaten track. I’d be interested in a charming artsy or historic neighborhood where I can walk, visit some cool shops, and have a great meal. I don’t need recommendations on museums as that is my field and I’ve done enough of that in my spare time this week. Thank you!
