This fan video shocked me
I saw this fan video of a Beach Boys concert (recorded 05/31) today:

I was shocked to see how much Mike Love's singing abilities have declined. It seems as if he only moves his lips and whispers into the microphone. Seeing this I wouldn't pay to see a Beach Boys concert anymore. Going there would just make me sad.
There are people who still like going to Beach Boys concerts and have fun, and that's great. However, when I think about how energetic Mike Love was as the front man of the Beach Boys and how little energy he displays now (which of course is normal for an 80+ years person) would just make me sad. It kind of reminds me of Brian Wilson's last touring years where the band was more important than the main person.

Why did Brian leave the Beach Boys?
As of what I've read Brian left the Beach Boys in 1988. I know he recorded a solo album around that time. Why did he do that? Wouldn't it have been better to record the songs with the Beach Boys like he always had done? And why did he not appear in the Kokomo music video?
Then in the 90s he participated in the country music album.
I'd just like to know why there was this erratic behavior concerning his participation with the Beach Boys, be it recording or touring. Did Dr. Landy demand that he separates from his band?
To be honest, if I was a member of the Beach Boys at that time I would have been really upset that the main songwriter suddenly quits and records his songs on his own instead of with us.
