I was just thinking how csk can manage their XII and backups in 2027, I got this:

Dube [ backup: any one out of karthik or sarfaraz]

Sai kishore/akeal✈️ [auction pick, either play akeal or kishore, no noor i would prefer gopal, for his batting]

CSK is a legendary franchise that is known for its consistency in all spheres of game.

Our batting order was so compact and steady at a time , that each and every player knew how to carry the innings.

In the batting unit if you see, our top order has always won us trophiss with the likes of hussey, smith, faf, watto, ruturaj etc.

But out of these our No.3 was the player who was damn consistent and accelerated beautifully i.e our CHINNA THALA

If you see our winning campaigns post raina, we had:

Moeen as no.3 in 2021 ( robin did this in the playoffs)

Rahane as no.3 in 2023

These were not blind sloggers but very experienced shot makers.

Who should be our no.3 now? Many of you may disagree my opinion but it must be sanju

He is very experienced, reads game well, play middle overs well and can target bowlers.

Mhatre along with some explosive foreign/indian opener like kyle mayers should open.

One more horrible year as a csk fan, lost to rcb, pbks, srh, rr again. Shit injury and team management and hell plans.

I loved the pivot towards prashant and karthik but man, i know we needed sanju but how can you even think to buy an untested youngster as a replacement of a player who was a bank of 4 overs and crucial runs with gun fielding and was one of the core members of the group.

14.2 cr on veer did not seem fruitful, ik we must not give up on him, but look to buy back in the next auction (my wish is to trade dube for jaddu fr)

now karthik, ik he has been given more chances than prashant, but right from the first match against RR, karthik seemed more settled and played a few good shots.

but anyways he is not a dhoni replacement who will come down the order and smack sixes, he is more of an anchor who accelerates well but i think he can be like Rayadu.

now let's come to the captain and dube, ruturaj is one of the best batters csk has produced, but seriously his performance while captaining has dipped since 2024 when he got the charge. I still back rutu cuz he is a good cricketer and just needs to adapt the new style of game.

DUBE IS A LIABILITY for real.

bro can't bowl, can't field, can't strike on good balls, I would prefer that either give him a therapy or something so that he brings his ICT impact lmao, otherwise simply release, he is not worth 11 or 13 cr (whatever his price is)

sanju just need to be consistent. MY RELEASES/changes FOR THE NEXT SEASON-

matt short (please release him and never buy back)

matt henry (not good enough, we have spencer)

prashant veer (may buy back him at 5 cr max)

dube (he might be even traded for hardik lol)

dhoni (probably retired, would be happy for him to be the coach/mentor)

khaleel (mukesh has proved himself, it's my opinion, but he's not gonna released)

aman khan (have ghosh and jamie so no need)

zak foulkes (emptying overseas slots cuz he is simply a run machine)

would love to see hardik in yellove if he comes and even if he doesn't we will be okay, we have got jamie and ghosh as fast bowling all rounders.

ellis will be back so it will be a problem of not playing akeal

so we should consider trading sai kishore for someone like aman khan or prashant or wait for gt releasing him cuz suthar is being preferred over him there.

I forgot forrester he can also be the next big thing in t20 cricket but it entrely depends on what the management thinks about him.
