Why trash?
A crack theory since there is no evidence at all, but was thinking recently of Noblesse Worms and how their only known characteristic (other than possibly looking like "colorful stars", although it might also be referring to some other insect in the cave) is that they are used to process garbage from the interactions with the trashcans on the Herta Space Station.
And who do we know is obsessed with trash and trashcans?
What if the Trailblazer's body was created with the remnants of the Noblesse Worm that Aha had blessed? And that this is the reason for their (yet unexplained) passion for everything trash-related?
According to Kafka the Trailblazer's body was "transformed by the power of an Aeon" and due to that "immune to Stellaron contamination" (although it is implied the transformation in question was meant to make them immune rather than being an unintended side effect).
>Trailblazer: Who am I?
Kafka: You are an artificial body created for the purpose of hosting a Stellaron. From the moment of your birth, it was your destiny to receive the Stellaron at Herta Space Station. Before that task was complete, I was responsible for protecting you, as well as teaching you general knowledge, common sense, and combat skills.

Trailblazer: How am I able to host a Stellaron?
Kafka: Because you were created for that purpose — your body has been transformed by the power of an Aeon. You are immune to Stellaron contamination.
Kafka: Therefore, you could say that you are a one-of-a-kind Stellaron vessel.
>Trailblazer: What exactly is a Stellaron?
Herta: According to my research, it's a type of lifeform with a special property that tethers it to a certain Path or Aeon's power.
An additional fact we learn from Kafka's truth and lies game is that the Trailblazer was always meant to host the Stellaron that was specifically stored at Herta Space Station and not any other Stellaron. The only difference between Stellarons that we know of at the moment is the Path they tether themselves too. I had always believed the one at Herta Space Station to be tethered to the Finality due to the visions the Trailblazer received on various occasions (for example after tanking the Doomsday Beast's final attack or during the warp to Penacony), but with new information (Silver Wolf's Elation interfering with Elio's scripts that seem to be created through Finality's vision) the possibility that it is instead tethered to the Elation feels possible. After all, the Trailblazer is meant to overturn the foreseen apocalyptic future.
And in the latest Trailblaze Mission the Stellaron was able to act as a vessel for Wishpower and allowed the Trailblazer to recreate their mask.
>The people's Wishpower surged into you, causing the Raccoon Mask you once wore to crack and fall apart. With the Stellaron within your body as a vessel, you absorbed it all and recast the mask. "The hero makes a dazzling entrance!"
– Happiness, or a Fatal Ailment (Sequence 29 summary)
This could also tie into the suspected ability of the Elation to manipulate Path Energy of the other Paths, as speculated by Yao Guang in regards to the Supplicants' Masks.
>Sunday: My "tuning" is spiraling out of control. This mask... is distorting my abilities.
Yao Guang: ...I see it differently. The loss of control is temporary. That mask is amplifying your power.
Sunday: How is this possible? This "tuning" power is bestowed by the Harmony. How could the Elation meddle with THEIR authority?
Yao Guang: Perhaps the Elation simply poured more "fuel" into this divine authority?
Yao Guang: In my humble opinion, this mask binds the Supplicant to all beings of Planarcadia, drawing strength from those who share the same Path here for your use.

As said at the start there is no proof at all for this crack theory, but wouldn't it be funny if the Trailblazer's origins were hinted at in the very first region?
