Pirate Madokami 🎀✨🏴‍☠️🪽

There was a One Piece event in Puerto Rico but we don’t watch One Piece sooooo go as the biggest Booty hoarder in then universe. Magical Souls! “Most Wanted” was the event title. Most Wanted indeed.

You could never have her, Incubators!

Completely improv and random idea, Shoe Wings were made an hour before getting dressed (will put some cardboard for strength since they’re actually not bad at all!) 💀 not a cosplayer just a person that dresses in inspired clothes! Event was Flanverse: Most Wanted. Main inspo was the Mobage cards. Not big on taking pictures so most are screenshots from stories 😭💀 so sorry. (hope it’s accepted).

Went for pink smear on the face as makeup instead of the usual dark/black smudge we’ve seen on pirate/burglar makeup. Eyelashes painted with acrylic paint :3 kind of a fan of going for lashes being same as hair color, not black. Not a makeup artist either so just having fun.

Thanks for watching! Sagitta Luminis~ 🏹✨🪽🏴‍☠️

Hopefully normal take: Vocaloid isn’t niche.

Hi. 2008 person here. I grew up with Vocaloid and it’s surprising to see people saying it’s niche in 2026. Certain voice banks definitely are, producers are, but the concept and obviously “the face” of what people associate with it are not. Like, come on, you’re really gonna tell me most people with internet access wouldn’t know Miku if you showed them a picture of it? Whether because of memes, fornite, or whatever else, people know. And let me be clear, knowing and accepting are obviously different, but what I mean to say is that being into vocaloid is no longer a “deeply underground” thing that most people couldn’t possibly understand. Now they’d be like “ah you listen to the teal anime girl music 👍🏼” and move on, just like they would with a metalhead or goth. Being into vocaloid now is a pretty established culture. Like it’s not something that can’t be “comprehended”.

It just strikes me as odd when people express things like the “genre” if you could call it that, (i feel it’s more like a culture/movement), is “niche”. Vocaloid is a huge thing (I’d dare say around the world, I’m not located in the US just in case, small caribbean island). Like most successful artists, the successful product does its thing in select markets, but it sells out where it does. There is infinite licensed merchandise and collaborations, without taking into account the how the user interacting with the product directly just creates endless waves “free marketing” basically.

So yeah there’s niche voice banks and producers but in 2026 it’s just weird to hear “vocaloid is niche”… it really isn’t its blended more and more into mainstream music.

You know what’s niche… UTAU.

ETA: Considering that Vocaloid itself as a tool was released in 2004 and Miku’s 20th anniversary debut is next year… is it really disproportionate to think it’s not niche? Of course it’s thanks to ‘otaku culture’ coming out of the shadows, but for a musical movement to propel itself across the globe in less than 20 years being as “niche” as vocaloid is then…? If it didn’t appeal to many, it would still be closer to where it was back in 2010’s.
