Need recommendations for a whistle

Hi!

So, I got myself a Killarney, it's absolutely amazing, but I apparently have some kind of allergy to it and I can't use it T_T

Is there another whistle I could get that won't have metals in the mouthpiece and will be around the same price range and quality?

Question about embouchure

I have found out I get the best control over the sound quality (specifically reducing airiness) and have an easier time reaching the higher notes if I do something a bit weird:

I anchor the sides of my upper lip behind the lower lip. I don't know why but it makes the sound be so much clearer than when I try to blow normally (I'm not sure my "normally" is correct either).

Is that ok to do? Or will that hinder my muscles from getting properly developed or something?

How am I even supposed to hold my lips when blowing? Are there any rules or whatever works is ok?

Starting out with a high flute

Hi!

I have no previous transverse flute experience.

I just got myself a dizi in western high E.

I can manage to do the lower octave ok, but the second octave feels impossible, I can maybe get the first note, badly.

Can I expect to get better enough to be able to play the second octave or did I get a flute that's just too high for starters?

Recommendation for a whistle and where to buy

I'm generally a recorder player but I've started to gain interest in my whistle lately. It's a cheap feadog, I feel like it's too screetchy and hoarse. The upper second octave sounds especially awful.
I'd love a whistle that sounds and functions better. I could probably go up to 100 euros, though I'd sleep better at night if it was cheaper. I'm not interested in a loud whistle.
I live in the EU and I'm really struggling to find places to order from where the shipping won't be too expensive. I'm sure there are some places that sell good whistles, but it's difficult to search in each respective language and hope the search engine will provide.

Do you have any idea?

Newbie cleanliness related questions

Hi! I have no idea about harmonica but I just got one!

After the second YouTube tutorial, I understand that the harmonica might go deep into the mouth and even gets tongue action - are there some hygiene practices I should be aware of? Do you do something before or after finishing playing? How do you store the harmonica?

The harmonica was super cheap so it's not the harmonica that I'm worried about, I'm worried about eating stuff that I shouldn't.

How to care for a dry skull

Hi, it's my first time taking bones from nature and would like to avoid disease. I've been trying to search online a little bit but haven't managed to find very clear answers since most of the info is about full corpses.

I haven't inspected it closely yet but it seems pretty dry, do I need to disinfect it in any way if there is no more flesh? How would I do that?

Could there be any flesh still hiding in some places?

I don't think I want to put money on making it look better, I'm just worried about health.
