I and my husband are excited to visit Scotland, this will be our 🍯 🌙 . We will be travelling from Canada as first time visitors. Below is our itinerary:

Days 1 & 2: Edinburgh
Day 3: Edinburgh → Glencoe — mainly taking our time with scenic stops along the route and staying overnight in Glencoe
Day 4: Glencoe → Isle of Skye — scenic drive and exploring along the way
Day 5: Full day on Skye
Day 6 (Oct 8): Skye → Inverness — transfer day with sightseeing/stops along the way; Night Fly from Inverness → London, then 2 nights & 3 days in London

I am especially looking for advice on the Highlands portion:
- What are the must-see scenic stops/routes between Glencoe and Skye?
-Any great pubs, cafés or places for food along that route?
-Any alternative/scenic route you’d recommend?
We’re planning to drive and not take skye ferry — any tips or things we should know?
For Skye → Inverness, are there any must-see stops we shouldn’t miss?
If we get rain/fog or poor visibility, especially on the Skye → Inverness day as we have our flight to catch at 8:30 PM are there any routes/stops you’d recommend or avoid?
Any general driving tips for the Highlands in October?
Trying to make sure we’re prepared because I do see the weather is not the best on Oct 8th in Skye, dont want to miss beautiful stops however bit concerned as we need to drive to Inverness.
Would really appreciate any local tips or Plan B suggestions! Thanks! ❤️

Travelling with my husband and planning our honeymoon. We fly from Canada to Edinburgh and depart from Heathrow - October 1st week. This will be our first UK trip so here is what I have for a 11 day itinerary.

Edinburgh(2 days) → Fort William (1 day), gateway to Glen Coe/Ben Nevis) → Isle of Skye (2-3 days) → Outer Hebrides/Harris & Lewis (2 days, via ferry) → back to mainland → London (2 days)

-We are planning to drive however open to suggestions. I m aware we’d be driving on single lane roads and days are shorter in October and that ideally we will be driving 4-5 hours every day. The cost of guided tour seems to be bit high
-Advise on skipping/ adding places, must visits ?
-We want to spend more days in Scotland which is evident and if you assure me 1 day is enough for London, I’d be more than willingly to add that day to Scotland :D
-We want to enjoy, relax, eat GOOD FOOD and take the scenery and probably may skip long hikes.
SO, would appreciate any golden tips!

I visited Chicago last year with my (now) spouse and completely fell in love with the city. We're coming back next week with a group of friends from Toronto and want to make the most of the trip.

I already have most of the usual must-do's planned, but I'm looking for some advice/ recommendations onThe Second City and Neo-Futurists. The Broadway show I was hoping to see doesn't start until August, so I'm thinking of trying both of these instead since they seem like completely different experiences.

Questions:

• Since we're going on a weekday, I was thinking it will be reasonable to just buySecond City tickets at the box office the same day, or would you still recommend booking online in advance?
• If you've been, which Second City show would you recommend? I've heard the Mainstage show is the one to see.
• Any recommendations for Neo-Futurists? Is it worth it for first-timers?

Also...

• Which observation deck would you choose:  Looking for the best overall experience and resonable value.
• Best deep-dish pizza? (We're all about the crust!)
• Any hidden gems for a really good latte or coffee?
• Outlet store for shopping?
