Didn't see much of this brand(HowCat) around, so I wanted to shine a light on them.
Considering it's the same kind of parts as booknooks, I thought maybe it would interest some people here.
It's just as fun to build as a booknook, takes a bit more time but the exact same tools.

These projects took a couple years of on-and-off work to put together, and I recently got this new case from Target to display them behind glass. Worked out wonderfully.
I painted, weathered, and textured every surface (dirt, concrete, steel, brick, wood, etc.) to get that truth to materials for a Route 66 town. Any part that I did not fabricate came from Mattel playsets from 2006. I wired the lights myself as well, with a mix of EL wire for the neon and LEDs for everything else.
I believe this may be the world’s only 1:64 scale Cars miniature, as the common Mattel line only comes in 1:55. I prefer the smaller 1:64, and with sourcing Cars characters in this scale I had more flexibility; Each car is from a different toy line, material, and era, but they all match in scale. I have painted or otherwise touched up every car to ensure movie accuracy and realism.
