What are your product recommendations after skin picking on your face?

Would love to know people’s specific product recommendations for facial skin picking!

Especially:

  1. Products and especially what kind of moisturizer you use after a bad picking session when you have completely raw patches/small open wounds on your face and your face is now super dry.
  2. Moisturizer and/or moisturizing products you use under makeup foundation. I find my foundation immediately highlights all my peeling dry skin and scabs.

The skin on my face is always SO dry because of me picking it all the time but also SO sensitive because of constant open wounds.

Bonus context: I have combination skin so I will get hormonal acne sometimes. I live in Canada, use a cpap with a face mask at night, and have had contact dermatitis on my face in the past.

Thank you!!

Ps. Not looking for advice on how to stop picking.

Halifax Recycling Questions ♻️

Would love to start a thread with some HRM recycling questions I can’t find answers to on my own in case someone here knows the answers!

*edited to add that I am already familiar with the Halifax Recycles/Waste Wizard app and website. I have not figured out answers to the questions below there.

Maybe other people can add their own questions in the comments?

For starters what do you do with glass maple syrup bottles with their lids attached by metal? Do they go with plastics in a blue bag? Or are they refundable?

If someone doesn’t separate flexible plastics in a separate, ties plastic bag within their larger plastic recycling bag, does that ruin the whole bag for recycling?

Can flattened boxes that aren’t tied together with twine still get recycled by our facilities?

Thanks!!
