Had a nightmare while I was only half asleep
Wasn't able to sleep last night (which isn't too uncommon for me) so I was so tired this morning that I started to dream while still mostly awake (which is also not uncommon)
Although this time the dream ended with a nightmare
I both experienced and witnessed what I drew
To summarize
At first I was her (the woman being flown away)
I was seeing through her eyes and controlling her body which I thought was mine at the time
I was in a cave when the ribcage appeared in the sky outside of the caves entrance
It was the only thing that wasn't colored in that deep desaturated blue
Still covered in raw pinkish red flesh like it had just been torn form someone chest
It flew towards me and even though I was looking at it and it was never not in front of me
It somehow went out of my sight
And suddenly it was wrapped around my chest
It didn't open and shut around me
It didn't slide over me like a hoodie
It was just on me now
A ribcage wrapped around my own
And on its back were now wings
pure white wings like that of an angel
It flew me out of the cave past the town outside and across the sky
It was at this point my mind separated from the woman's body
She was now a separate person
And even though I was now a bodily less spectator
I could still feel her emotions
And she was horrified
She pleaded the words In a monotone lifeless unnaturally high pitched computer voice
"I don't wanna go!"
"I don't wanna go!"
Even though her worlds were full and lifeless I could feel her screaming them in terror
I didn't know where we were going
And I don't know if she did
But she did know we weren't just going to a place
But a person
And that person is what she was afraid of
And by extension so was I
That's all I remember clearly
