Hit a curb last week. I hear a scraping noise.

I bumped into a curb coming down a very small block.Now I hear a scraping sound , so I remove the tire and the inside of the rim has a very standout scrape that goes all the way around. It was not a very hard hit. I move the breaking plate back off the rotor that is not the problem. The shop is telling me my rim is bent.I do not believe it.What is going on help will be very appreciated. The noise has become consistent. Is it the strut touching the inside rim lip ? How to fix? Thank you everyone.
