Xterra lift questions
Hello, I picked up this Xterra to take off road and as this is my first capable off roader, I have some questions.
I was wondering if there was anywhere I can get a complete lift kit? I’ve been doing research and I’m finding the lift kits with the struts and either shackles or and extra spring. Which would be better?
I also found the cheaper ones with the strut spacers and shackles for the rear. I heard those aren’t good cause you’ll also need upper control arms?
I picked up some bronco wheels that are beadlock capable with 315/70/17 tires for a really good price and also 2inch adapter spacers since they have +55 offset. I could of course get different tires and spacer sizes if needed cause I figured with the 2inch adapter it’ll make the wheel +5 offset.
My background is more in cars and drifting so this is quite the opposite of what I’m used to and need some guidance on lift amount and where to get it on some sort of a budget as this is more of me dipping my toes in and starting a new hobby which is why those strut spacers and rear shackles seem more appealing.
