Hesperian Massachusetts-class Battleship
The Massachusetts-class is a class of Battleships operated by Hesperian Navy. Designed to compete with such modern heavy warships as the Tian Empire’s Type-37 Battleship or the Radford Consortium’s J-class Fast Battlecruiser, the Massachusetts-class represents a dramatic shift in design paradigm of space-borne warships.
Originally ordered as a series of four ships (The Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Franklin) in 2751, following the Corporate Alliance’s Mobilization Initiative of 2755, and additional six ships (The Maine, Westfold, Rhode Island, and three unnamed vessels) were additionally ordered.
