$70k remote or $85k regional

Currently in a regional position of 3 years now and feeling very burnt out. Travel isn’t crazy, but it still puts wear and tear on my car as well as my mental health. Sometimes driving 35 miles each way, travel expenses typically not reimbursed.
I have the opportunity to take a “step down” for a fully remote role that pays $70k (compared to the $85k i’m getting now).

I bought my car for this job and I’ve put over 32k miles on within the last three years. My husband and I are financially stable and will be trying to start a family soon, so I don’t see how I can continue with having an unpredictable schedule and wasting hours in traffic each week (while staying sane).

would you take the pay cut for fully remote?

I get texts with promos probably 4-5x a week. every time I click the link, it takes me right to the app where it tells me the promo isn’t valid.

for context, I deactivate my account frequently to get better “come back” promos. sometimes the promos I get work, majority of the time they give me an error message.

am I dumb? what is the issue here?
