Scanner Options ; Launch , Autel , Topdon

Hey yall, recently opened up my own shop so it's time to get a proficient scanner, I was just looking for insight from other professional mechanics when it comes to choice of scanner.

I have used Autel & Launch scanners in the past , and in my experience Autel scanners have been more capable but Launch scanners are much more user friendly in their interface design . However ultimately all Im after is most capability & reliability for my money.

I am looking to spend $1-2k on the right scanner.

A lab scope function would be nice, but my only requirements are that my new scanner has good live data, able to perform most relearns, service functions, and actuation tests, is compatible with all common makes/models to North America, and the scanners functionality wouldn't be shut down when not kept up with updates.

I would really appreciate insight , as Im currently having trouble deciding between the 3 brands .
