How to register business name for trademark?

I’ve never filed a trademark before and I’m getting a bunch of different answers from Google, ChatGPT and business focused websites.

For anyone who has actually gone through the trademark process, how did you handle it when you wanted to file a trademark for a business name?

Is the process different state to state? And what other steps should be done before filing a trademark registration?

I’m mainly trying to figure out how to register business name for trademark without missing something obvious.

Orange County people, where do you actually buy mattresses?

Need to replace a mattress soon and I’m looking for somewhere I can actually try a few before deciding.

I know buying online is probably easier but I’d rather not pick a mattress based entirely on reviews from people I’ve never met.

Main thing is finding a place with a normal sales vibe. No pressure, no weird upselling, just decent advice and clear delivery info.

What OC mattress stores would you recommend?

Is software supply chain security finally becoming more than just SBOMs?

Software supply chain security seems to be one of those terms that means something completely different depending on who you ask.

Some teams are basically talking about SBOMs and compliance. Others are focused on signing artifacts, securing CI/CD pipelines, or scanning container images.

Then you have platforms talking about runtime context, attack surface reduction and removing unnecessary software instead of just finding another vulnerability to report.

So where is this actually going?

Is software supply chain security still mostly about visibility and compliance or is the industry finally moving toward remediation and reducing risk at the source?

Curious what people are actually seeing across different organisations.

f150 2016 , do you keep a check engine light scanner in your car?

my ford f150 2016 got a check engine light and it made me think about whether i should just keep a scanner in the truck for next time.

it's not a replacement for a mechanic, a code scan isn't a real diagnosis, but reading the code yourself before deciding what to do next seems useful.

anyone here keep one in their car? has it saved you money or time?

Lion's mane, fruiting body vs mycelium debate aside, what actually matters in your experience after 6+ months?

Okay I know the fruiting body vs mycelium argument has been done to death on this sub but looking for fresh takes: people who've been running lion's mane consistently for more than 6 months, what do you feel like you've learned that you didn't know when you started?
