Bad kissers
Unpopular opinion
A lot of people needed kissing classes. Please invest in those. Practice on your pillow. You’re not a vacuum.

What yall making for dinner? Do you buy your lunch or make it at home?
I found a 2kg unopened bag of mealie meal I bought last year.
I remember shading someone who said they struggle to think of what to cook when living alone, meanwhile I just realized all I’ve been making is pasta. Potatoes sometimes. Rice once in a while.
All those meals I swore I’d start making once I moved out.😂 I have baked multiple times so I guess that’s something
Shout out to people who live alone and still come home and make sadza regularly because the thought of picking up a mugoti after a long day mmmmmm
Need a 3d artist in zim for a project please DM with a portfolio
I just saw a funeral TikTok about a guy who took his own life after a breakup, and people were hitting his coffin with sticks and whips. Why?
I saw another one where a girl took her own life and they threw her coffin around and refused to let it stay in the house before burial.
There are so many things about Zimbabwean culture that I genuinely don’t understand. And honestly, some of it feels incredibly dumb.
What exactly is chiramu? An excuse for someone’s creepy husband to touch your siblings inappropriately?
What do you mean someone can literally end a person’s life and avoid prison because they paid ngozi?
Matekenya ndebvu? Why not just scam bro properly?
Why are we out here pulling random parts of our vjjs? Why do you need a long clit🤣
What do you mean a deadbeat parent can suddenly appear to collect part of the bride price?
And what do you mean you’re expected to buy your mother a blanket with your first paycheck as some symbolic promise to take care of her? Who even came up with that? Before blankets and salaries existed, what were people giving? Mbeva?
This weird behaviour of mistreating kids that aren’t yours. It’s so normalised. Your aunt’s 14 year old daughter shouldn’t be a maid!
I’m honestly just exhausted by some of the cruel and irrational behaviour we normalize as a country.
What was your first job?
How much was your first salary and what did you do with it? What did you buy?
At government school during our time we had to be bald for whatever fucking reason. Except seniors.
Private school had us on strict hair rules. The black girls had to wear SPECIFIC hairstyles. Proper mabuns, plain cornrows front to back… no bridge, no side part, no extensions, nothing stylish. The boys too ,just a normal cut. No shading, no dreadlocks, hair couldn’t even be too long. If you’d been growing your hair for 10 years? Figure out how to make it look “young lady like.” Meanwhile the non-black kids could do whatever they wanted. If they wanted Justin Bieber hair, cool. Bangs? Cool. If you want to grow your hair up to your knees… cool. Let a Black girl get bangs with braids though 👀 let a black girl come with an Afro.
Fast forward to high school. The girls could finally get different braids as long as they were neat and tied back. But the Black boys still had to cut their hair. The white kids? Highlights, dyed hair, all of it. I remember one boy changing his hair colour every school break
Then the issue with shorts. The white girls wore shorts first. Nothing was said. The heat was unbearable! So we decided to bring our own shorts. Nothing crazy… we are kids! suddenly shorts got banned. Senior boys weren’t allowed to wear biker shorts anymore. I understand why lmao but they only put those rules when the black boys started wearing them.
Now today my niece gets called out at school because her hair “must be plaited or shaved.” Her hair is literally this 🤏🏾 short because she’s trying to grow it out. It’s neat, combed and not against the rules. We ended up doing those tsono mabuns because we can’t cut it.
It’s honestly ridiculous how Black people are constantly expected to be uncomfortable just to fit into standards that were never made for us in the first place.
I’ve come with a small solution 😊
If anyone’s interested, we could organize a mini restocking trip, either to Botswana or South Africa and shop for the necessary items together. Bulk buying usually makes things much easier and more affordable.
It’s something I normally do for basics, items that aren’t easily available in Zimbabwe, or things that are just overpriced locally. Bulk buying and all that
Especially during Black Friday, I’ve found it really convenient and worth it.
Ladies, How much are yall spending on maintenance?
Am I the only one kinda upset about the maintenance cost in zim. Tell me why I just paid close to $80 for a hairstyle.
Everything is so pricey. Good nail techs are going to charge you $25-$30 for something simple like frenchies or a plain color. And if it’s the extra stuff lol
Then there’s so much more. The little stuff waxing, eyebrows, toes/pedicure. This is monthly 🥲
Then skincare, body care, hair care… everything is so overpriced.
I literally saw lemme gummies for the first time in zim and she’s selling them for $50. In the states they like 22 bucks in SAI bought mine for $30 how did we get to 50 in zim🥲
Small imported things cost twice the price. Even Vaseline body oil is like 15 bucks.
why is lotion $30 why is body scrub $25.
Skincare I understand it’s.. your face but still 1 serum is like $45🥲
Then makeup🥴 the fact that lipgloss is like $30 and you need 15 other products that range in the 30-90 area
We are not even going to get into the perfume area lmao.
And I know all of this is optional. But when you’re my age… you actually have to do it. I literally punch the air when I’m out of things especially at the same time
For those renting or leasing agricultural land, how much are you charging or being charged?
Is the rate calculated per hectare, per year, or per farming season/crop cycle?
Also, for livestock grazing, how much do you charge per animal, and over what period ,monthly, seasonally, or annually?
I’m planning my best friend s roora. We have a budget. We’re asking different vendors and tailors and stuff but now we are on decor.
Going into this we knew decor was going to be pricey. We asked 5 decor people. Their prices where kinda similar but we went for the $1600 one for 50 people then an extra 500 for flower arrangement
Since the roora is out of Harare we knew they’d be transport. When she sent the invoice the total was $3200.
So transport is $1100?????????
I asked if I could get her our own transport she’s basically just avoiding that.
Is this normal? Did anyone else pay this much on transport?????
Please can we have ideas. What are you people doing for Mother’s Day or what do you usually do for Mother’s Day
Zvansi “ unoziva kuti hauna kumbonaka… ASI MWARI vakaisa favor” “Bhrendoni anoona vane zviuono zvidiki, vane mahips akadai asi akasarudza Iwewe”
🤣
I’m not a violent person but on that day auntie was going to catch this slap😭 You’re not going to tell me I’m ugly and shapeless at my own event… MY BRIDAL SHOWER????? Actually anywhere….
This is exactly why these events should be one or two hours max.
People arrive, someone prays, gifts are handed over, your mom says something, your mother-in-law says something, maybe one rich auntie gives a speech, then Jah Prayzah and Mahendere play while everyone eats rice, dances a little, and goes home.
But noooooo… mukuda Kufadza Madzimai….Now we must suffer through guest speakers, Mai Mufundisi, and every auntie in the bloodline. Please, sisters, let us be free from marital advice. There’s literally nothing these people can tell you that you haven’t heard… marriages are not the same. You know your partner… you know what you signed up for… so why are you letting in a whole lot of insecurity and projection into your new home…Because Brandon wacho probably thinks you’re gorgeous, and that lady just planted insecurities that were never even there or watered the ones that already were.
Half these women are married to losers (serial cheaters, drunks, rombes, pedophiles) what wisdom are they giving exactly?
And the proof? Not one of them stopped her. They all sat there humming “mmm” and laughing like she was preaching sense.
And the real ha ha moment is they paid for that lady to speak
