First time flying to Amsterdam, concerned about layovers
Hi everyone.
I'm planning a trip to go visit my partner in Scotland at the end of the year, ideally leaving on 26th of December.
I've never flown KLM or had a layover in Schiphol so I'm a bit concerned. All the options for the possible trips are Milan->Amsterdam->Aberdeen and they all have a layover of about 1h in Schiphol.
I already have my ETA and don't think I need to do anything else. I don't think I'll be travelling with big pieces of luggage, just the carry-on and my backpack, so I don't have to worry about that not making it to my destination.
Doable? Insane?
I know that the holiday season, and especially the weather can still affect things, especially the further up north I go, but hypothetically, would these times work?
Delays and issues on the way back are not a big deal, my main worry is travelling to Scotland as our time together will be limited.
Thanks!
