How to Cut the rot?

I am really new to planting monsters. Can I cut just from this edge? Looks like it rotted since this thing is on the floor.

Edges of Leaves Turning black on my Adansonii

I'm new to planting and I have a Monstera that I repot yesterday. The current pot is only soil so I had to change it to an Aroid Mix.

A day later, matured leaves are getting black on the tip and the newly bloom leave have black edges. I might have overwatered it, should I be worried or just let it do its thing for a week?
