My friends are telling me no because you cannot run 3dp in a 1000pt army, and whenever I look it up online I get mixed results as the response? On the app I’m building a 1000pts army and it lets me select warpbane as my detachment, would that just be a glitch?

Is this army okay? I have no clue what I’m doing. Also I fucked up building the strike squad and it’s more of a shitty purgation squad. Will people care if I run it as a strike if they have the heavy weapons?

Hey everyone, recently got into 40K and picked grey knights as my first army. I bought a strike squad and have one left to paint, so I’m looking at a combat patrol next. As a newbie I didn’t really think about how my army would play and just kind of built them how I thought they’d look cool. I realized this is kind of a mistake if I want to go for a specific playstyle with my army. I’m not looking to be competitive, just casual games with my friends, but I would like to have some planning go into my army. The data sheets seem a little overwhelming, and I can’t find any great resources on different play styles. So my main question would be is there any stress free ways I could build my combat patrol so it’s somewhat competitive? Or any resources to just help me figure out what the hell I’m doing, and what all the different guns on my guys do? Thanks in advance brothers
