ADHD on Caffeine - Switching from Coffee to Matcha

Just wanted to share my experience being addicted to caffeine XD

I've always been so dependent on caffeine from coffee to multiple energy drinks a day.
Even on medication I still feel like I need the extra boost.
I found that it kinda stopped working for me for quite a bit but just continued to up the amount of caffeine I take in a day >-<

Recently, after developing really bad GERD, I switched to matcha for caffeine and just wow!
I feel like it's been helping me stay awake and a bit more focused than I would usually be compared to coffee/energy drinks before.
I've also been skipping my extra ritalin for the day because of it!

I've always thought of it as coffee is more like 10mg ritalin, where it hits you faster and harder, while matcha is like 20mg ritalin, steady and slow burning throughout the day.

I'm curious if anyone else has similar experiences to this or how your journey with caffeine and ADHD has been ❤️

Need Help with Recos T_T

TLDR: Please drop your favorites for a refreshing, vegetal, slightly bitter matcha!
Apparently shizuoka is close to what I'm looking for but it's so hard to find T_T

Planning on making my own matcha latte at home!

Just started enjoying matcha again since I can't have coffee anymore due to GERD :'(
Looking for a pretty simple taste and trying to replicate the matcha strawberry latte that's Highlands Coffee has for a limited time. I order waay too many of it in a day and was hoping to save a bit by recreating it at home ❤️
It seems to have a slight, teeny tiny amount of bitterness to it and a nice smooth grassy, recognizable matcha taste

Really hope to get some recos from the pros ^_^

Edit: I did try looking through the subreddit for brands, but there's way too many out there that it's a bit confusing for a newbie >-<
