has anyone tried it yet and what are your thoughts on it? i've seen so many reviews of it lately since i've been searching for syrup recipes.

i like making my own syrups pero sometimes ang tempting din bumili ng gawa na. it looks promising and i'd love to support small businesses din, kaso i've seen some reviews where sumabog 'yung bottle during shipping or half the syrup spilled </3 i know kasalanan na ng courier 'yan, pero i don't want my first experience with the shop to be bad din kasi huhu

Hi! Serious question, will delete if not allowed po. Helping a friend lang. Someone is selling a tin of kumatcha secret 1 matcha powder for 1100 for 30g. Is this the norm po? She wants to try it because of all the reviews daw but she’s hesitant because of the price.

Sino dito hindi nag-a-add ng sweetener sa matcha? Thoughts? Mas bet niyo ba yung natural na lasa kahit medyo bitter/astringent, or mas okay with a little sweetness?

For those who have tried Matcha Co.’s Yumei, can you share your thoughts? Did you like it?

I got mine last MMF 2026 and I’ve tried it around three times already, pero napansin ko na there’s this sharp, sour aftertaste. I’ve tried making it as cereal oat matcha and ang prominent talaga nung aftertaste. I also tried cold whisking it, and nabawasan naman siya, pero nandun pa rin yung maasim na mapait na aftertaste. 😭 Masarap naman sana siya, pero parang nasa dulo talaga ng dila yung aftertaste.

I already messaged them on Instagram and TikTok pero no response pa. Is this normal for Yumei?

Nagustuhan ko kasi yung Okumidori and Itsuki nila, kaya napapaisip ako if ganito ba talaga dapat yung lasa ng Yumei or baka may mali lang sa way ng pag-prepare ko. 🥲 I’m using 5g of agave btw.

Hindi rin naman spoiled yung milk na gamit ko since lagi ko siyang chine-check before mixing it with the matcha.

Would love to hear your thoughts, especially from those who’ve tried Yumei! 🥹

Hello! I'm currently exploring hojicha and bought from moonbug. Any tips on how to prep the hojicha? What if walang matcha kit, is it okay to use a frother?

I recently tried The Haku Cafe matcha and really loved the flavor. I’m looking for something similar—earthy, rich, strong, and umami-forward, rather than something very light, sweet, or delicate.

For those who have tried both Qing Xi and Moli:

- Which one has the stronger/earthier matcha flavor?

- Which one has better umami?

- Which one would you recommend if I’m trying to get something close to The Haku Cafe?

- How do they compare as a matcha latte?

help me out please!! i really want to add hojicha into my rotation bc I consume too much matcha due to work stress 🫩

i love how hojicha tastes like but there’s something talaga na medyo nakaka-off for me. yung lingering after taste ng pagka toast/roast ng hojicha (i think)

tbh im not very sure! but I felt the same way with genmaicha—masarap but may weird lingering after taste talaga na di ko masyadong bet.

i know hojicha is roasted haha but im just wondering if may powders ba na less toasty? or may technique ba to lessen it? i like it dark roast din kasi 😅 sorry ang gulo but I wanna make it work

i have MK Type B, it’s good and less toasty pag cold whisked. i tried JMPH dark roast & spare key (nokori) na choco hojicha, oks naman but looking for more suggestions sana

my mom loves mk wako but resellers are selling it for almost ₱3k (for a 40g can) so i’m looking for alternatives that are cheaper but have the same flavor profile. please recommend other matcha powders! 🙏🏻

we also tried yk shikibu no mukashi earlier but she really prefers mk wako. i just can’t use it daily since i can only make a few servings for a 40g can ++ it’s pricey. 🥲
