Advice for newbies (rain&food)

We’re (2 adults, 6yr old, 3yr old) due to go camping next Friday (21/08) and it’s looking likely to rain!
Any advice seasoned campers wish they knew before camping in the rain? This is only our second time camping.

Food, what are you all cooking? We’re gone for 7 days so really need some ideas. We’re cooking on the cadac pro 2 cook 2

Berghaus freedom 5 - new to camping

What am I doing wrong? The rear beam is bowing on its self at the side. Deflated to check for any kinks and I couldn’t find any. Was inflated to roughly 6psi. Wind was brutal on the tent too.
New to camping, love the tent, trying to justify the room it takes up in our Qashqai boot. But for the love of god this one thing is annoying me. Uploaded as many pics as possible, this was my first time putting a tent up. Tia.
