I made this album last year and didn't get around to sharing it here on Reddit. From what I remember, I think it's the most consistent album I've made. If you have time, take a look, maybe you'll like it

Could this music be considered vaporwave? Or does it sound like another genre?

I wrote this song last year, and I didn't even remember it. I had posted it on SoundCloud, but I didn't remember doing that lol

Is anyone keeping up with the new vaporwave albums of 2026?

What vaporwave albums have you been listening to that were released this year? I'd like some recommendations. I've already listened to some albums I found while searching and others that popped up here on Reddit. I'm finding the albums I've found this year really good, they're better than last year

Which vaporwave album or song impacted you the most?

Well, I know most people probably heard the song Macintosh Plus - Lisa Frank 420 Modern Computing, it was the first one that introduced a lot of people to vaporwave, and it's still probably the track that introduces people to vaporwave. But I started with "Nobody Here" I remember thinking it was something scary, the first time I saw it, I thought it was a video to frighten people, Then I clicked on the video and got hypnotized by the music and the colorful road, That really impacted me, and then I started getting recommendations for other songs and videos explaining vaporwave

Do you think vaporwave will ever become as popular again as it was in 2014?

To be honest, I discovered vaporwave in 2018, and I remember that even in that year, there was a lot of vaporwave content everywhere I went, especially on youtube, but after a while, that kind of vaporwave content simply stopped. From 2021 until now, I don't remember if vaporwave has been popular again during that time

Hey everyone, I've decided to release a project of mine that's been on hold for a while since last year. The idea was to make an album, but I lost the will to continue it. It's a Plunderphonics project with Bronken Transmission and only has 2 songs, It's very short

Hey everyone, I wanted your opinion on this song I made today. I tried to make something progressive using only effects without altering the sample. I wanted to know if it turned out well, and also if the video editing matched the song. It's not a big deal, but I wanted to know what I can improve

Do you prefer vaporwave music based on samples or original compositions?

I honestly prefer those based on samples; I've always liked the idea of taking a sample and transforming it into something new, and that applies to any musical genre that uses samples, but vaporwave does it in a way that I find most appealing, But the original compositions are great too, I'm not putting them down or anything like that
