How to deal with dandruff and dry scalp?
Got my dreadlocks about 2 months ago now and in the past few weeks I’ve noticed dandruff and more itchiness which you can kind of see in the first pic. I also recently noticed these small discoloured patches of skin around the back of my head in the 2nd pic (I’m sorry it’s not very clear was hard to try and get a good picture of it). The 3rd pic is just for reference on what my dreads look like. The dandruff and dry patches of skin aren’t super serve or noticeable unless looking very close up but I imagine it will get worse untreated so I’m trying to stop it before it gets any worse.
I’m currently washing once a week with Jamaican mango and lime tingle, I’ve read about aloe Vera oil being good for moisture and Nizoral being good for dandruff but I’ve also been warned about using non natural products that could cause residue so I’m unsure. Any sort of advice would be appreciated 👍
