2026 Trail Sport. Purchased new less than a month ago. I’ve seriously only been able to get the remote starter to work three times despite trying it probably 20-30 times. Twice from the app, once from the key fob. Most of the time the key fob wont do shit, and the app will fail to send the command. Literally just doing this like from 30 or so feet away through my living room window. No obstructions. Even tried it while outside near the vehicle a few times. Really don’t want to waste my time bringing it in if it might be something I’m doing wrong. Anyone else have this problem or know what’s going on?

I was in the Army about 20 years ago and most of the unit I went to Afghanistan with were from the western New York area (Rochester and Buffalo). I noticed many of them ended statements with “real quick” - like “I’m going to head down to the shop real quick.” Or “I’m going to just check this thing real quick.” Like a filler phrase/ statement ender. I never heard anyone use it before this. Never really heard it since. I’m from NYC and Upstate NY, then lived in the SE for a while before settling in Virginia. Other than this unit, really haven’t interacted with many folks from Western New York.
