2025 Mazda3 hardwire question: constant fuse + switched mirror fuse?
I have a 2025 Mazda3 Sedan Turbo Premium Plus and I’m planning to hardwire a VIOFO A329T for front/rear recording and parking mode. From what I’ve read, Audio F13 in the interior fuse box may work for constant power. My issue is finding a true switched/ACC source that turns off with the car. I’ve seen some people mention using the rearview mirror / overhead console area as a switched power source, especially on trims with the auto-dimming mirror, sunroof, etc. My question is: with a VIOFO hardwire kit, can I run the constant power wire down to the interior fuse box, then extend/run the ACC/switched wire back up the headliner to tap the rearview mirror/overhead console power source?
Has anyone used the rearview mirror/overhead console power as the switched ACC source? I’m wondering if I can run constant power to the fuse box, then run/extend the ACC wire back up to the mirror/overhead console area. Is that a safe setup, or is there a better switched fuse/source for this car? I’d appreciate input from anyone who has hardwired parking mode on a 2024/2025 Mazda3 sedan.
