Found this today while waiting for a friend to see The Mandalorian and Grogu before work today.
I liked it. A lot. Proud to call it the first Star Wars movie I've seen in theaters.

Yes, I like a lot of stuff.
So over an hour ago I'm at Target trying to get a Mother's Day gift. Now for context I'm a young collector with a job and poor impulse control, so I'm killing time in the toy aisle fully knowing that's a stupid idea, but the only reason I'm there is to wait for an answer to make sure I'm getting the right thing. (Texts are weird like that.)
So I'm looking at the Marvel stuff (oops, all Iron Man,) the Transformers, the new toys for the He Man movie (amazingly cheap yet decent looking,) and of course, the Joes.
Now I know the Super7 products are not always the most popular of items and for good reason... But godammit they had O-Ring Flash. Is Super7 stuff overpriced? Probably. Very likely. But I know an unlikely opportunity when I see one, (since I don't have any versions of Flash yet,) so as is my detrimental nature I grab him and head back to the clothing aisle for the gift. As I'm waiting in line at the checkout I feel guilty because Flash is literally double the price of the gift. (What can I say? My mom likes socks.) So upon realizing this I choose to EQUAL the value (by getting two packs of socks,) instead of just putting Flash back (heh) and waiting for another day.
Turns out fate decided to solidify the lesson for me, as when I finally reach the checkout counter, the guy is having trouble scanning the barcode. On what? Flash's cardback. So I'm watching this guy troubleshoot as the problem dawns on me, and then he runs to customer service and back and tells me this: He can't scan the barcode because **they're no longer supposed to sell these items.** Like, it's invalidated. And I tell him too how there were a lot of the Super7 Joes, so then he's like "Damn somebody's gotta clear that whole section now."
And you know what? I wasn't mad in the slightest. I even told the cashier everything was okay since the socks (AKA, the Mother's Day gift,) was more important and left spending $20 instead of $40. I'm still plenty confused about how and why the Super7 O-Rings weren't purchasable anymore, but I don't see it as a loss either. Not only because I was reluctant to begin with, but because I also ended up staying true to my original intention of just buying a gift...
(But seriously. Has anyone else had any issues with purchasing Super7 Joes recently? Was it just my Target? Is all that stock bound for Ross? Who knows...)
