Finally got my Thunder Machine.
I know it's not the ARAH Zartan. My Dreadnoks are still gonna wreck some Joes later anyway.

Commander is a little darker than I'd like, but pretty pleased with the results so far. Trying to keep with the original file card art as much as I can.
Cobra Commander's Kooky Costumes ep10 - "Avast Ye Vipers!"
If the runaway success and subsequent explosion of the 25th Anniversary line proved one thing, it was that Hasbro was really, really, really good at coming up with ways of selling Duke, Snake Eyes, and Cobra Commander. Add a white stripe to CC's helmet and you've got yourself an all-new figure to put on the shelves. Add a white stripe and a MASS Device Element, and you've got yourself another one.
Eventually, we even got a pack of figures paying tribute to the "new sculpt" days of yore. Of course, Hasbro wasn't going to pump a whole bunch of money into a pack of figures paying tribute to an era folks didn't remember fondly even back then, so they tossed some of what they already had together and called it a day.
While you had to squint a little with some of the other figures in the pack, Cobra Commander does a pretty decent job of recapturing his old Joe vs. Cobra outfit. More or less.
He's got the "bleeding" Cobra logo on his hood and a giant pair of shin guards, as was the style at the time. I'm not really sure where or why shin guards became such a staple of action media, but leave it to Cobra Commander to go all-in by grabbing the puffiest pair he could find.
Hasbro stuck CC's head on a Crimson Guard body quite a few times in an attempt to recapture his Marvel comic-book outfit. It kinda/sorta works for the Marvel outfit, aside from the insanely inconvenient sword sheath they stuck on the webgear. It juts out from behind the figure like a weird tail and can cause havoc on a display if you're not careful. You'd think that paying homage to a version without a sword at all would have been a great excuse to fix this issue, but nah. CC's sword is intentionally obtrusive because he doesn't like to be crowded.
I do like this version, though. I guess they added the cape to make up for the lack of shoulder pads, so we've got this nifty Cobra Commander who looks like he's got "military ball" and "pirate duel" on his daily agenda.
The Commander spent most of the Devil's Due run wearing his JvC outfit, and people seemed to really like the newly styled hood emblem. I've got no beef with it myself. It looks a little Ultimate Warrior-ish, sure, but if anyone in Cobra can survive that comparison, it's this guy.
that is my Question

I use GI Joe cards as the background and hand cut stencils with spray paint. I used to open random packs of cards for fun on my social media but never watched the show. Started watching this week and I’m hooked!
I couldn’t find the actual giant blue launch bay thing that cradled this, a lot of the pieces and little doors etc are broken or long gone, we loved playing with this as a kid I used to play with power rangers and Star Wars micro machines and that sort of thing in it. With 3D printing is there any hobbyists I can hire to like restore it or something or should I just trash it? Would really like my kid to be able to play with it l, he loves space.

Fun story taking place in the swamps of Florida.
M.A.R.S. Trooper (2009). Pretty cool figure in my opinion. Based on the standard blue shirt cobra trooper. Obviously did not appear in the Rise of Cobra movie. But still cool nonetheless. You could get him in a 3 pack, with 2 troopers and 1 officer (Review tomorrow) and then also in a battle pack of 5 also with an officer. They came with these big silver rifles. But the grips are huge and I was scared they were gonna break my guys hand.
I’ve just begun reading Skybound Comics’ Energon universe. I’m only 22 so I didn’t grow up with the original series’, but I loved some of the transformers cartoons and games in the 2000s and loved the Rise of Cobra movie as a kid.
Outside of that, I have pretty minimal exposure to G.I. Joe. I’m reading through Duke and Cobra Commander and I’m loving it, I just don’t know the characters very well.
To get to the point, what would you fans suggest I check out? Any specific comic run, cartoon or game? Willing to take the time so I’m open to any suggestions!
I was a very quiet kid, mom passed at 5, dad awol, my gi joes were my outlet my catharsis. Yea I may have interrogated a few joes on the kerosene heater in my basement playroom. But gi joe with the blueprints and vocabulary taught me more than Waterbury public school (Edit, i removed a child from lower right) replaced with the stilleto.
(Removing my cousin) whom I've lost contact with, was apparently a capital offense. Are we this far gone, where I say "I removed a kid" I get called a liar.
Well there's the video. Everybody boo this "man" and what a weird thing to make up. Why, how even would you generate such a thing. Were really screwd as a nation if people are this stupid about AI.
