I'm seeking some cards for my all-time lineups that have any of the four Deep Bomber shoes on them and are NOT holo. If you're on PlayStation and willing to part with them, I am willing to pay 10K above market value for the card, to avoid having to buy a 25k Takeover to equip them.

So as an offline player, it's always the aim throughout the year to put together all-time teams for all 30 franchises.

Currently I'm running 5 man all-time teams for all Clutch Time games (5 games then on to the next team) and 3 man current roster teams during TT (5 games then moving on.) Full time games get "Best Of The 80s" etc.

There are 4 starters for All-Time teams that don't exist so the Celtics, Lakers, 76ers and Pacers have to do without Bill Russell, Kobe Bryant, Charles Barkley and Indiana Pacers, but I'm stuck with 18 players currently hidden behind PD and GO Hidden Gems.

Can anybody recall where they're getting them now? I know they show up because I recently was able to acquire GO Tiny Archibald for the Kings and PD Gail Goodrich for the Lakers, but I can't remember if if was mini-game prizes, corner slot prizes or superpaks like Best Of MyTeam.

I know, I know... the Hidden Gems suck... but at this juncture I can fix most of them with coaches, shoes, badges and animation breakers.

Some crucial guys are missing from my squads like:

• Elvin Hayes (Wizards/Rockets) - All time leading scorer for Washington AND Top 10 scoring for Houston
• Bob Lanier (Pistons)
• Bob Love (Bulls)
• Cliff Hagan (Hawks)
• Dan Issel (Nuggets)
• Fat Lever (Nuggets)
• Bob Dandridge (Bucks)
• Rolando Blackman (Mavericks)
• Sam Jones (Celtics)

• Jo Jo White (Celtics)

It's my view that if 2K wants to run a true fantasy simulator, every single year, the best player at each position that played for a franchise should get at least a 100 OVR.

In the above scenario, 2K would have fallen short on these players

Technically McAdoo, Lopez and Malone have qualifying cards, but they were rewards that were not entirely obtainable for all.

Just finished the Gauntlet and got my GOAT (Larry Bird) and just noticed it reset with the same prize. I wonder if that's limited or the Gauntlet can be completed infinitely for GOATs.

Would be funny, since I used almost all my Conquerer, Safe and Run It Back cards on what I thought was the last ever run through there.

Just a PSA... I quicksold every single bronze to gold badge I had this weekend and got 167,000k. With the badges being useless now and 167k MT now being like 1.67M MT a couple weeks ago, it's a lot of free MT to buy 4 or 5 Invincibles or GOATs.

You can also, if you have a lot of time to dedicate to it, sell all the useless bronze-gold shoes as well. Mine probably will net me 30-50k, but it will take eons to do.

As the title indicates - I know, for instance, that Collin Sexton, is without a doubt, the worst upper release on oldgen/mobile, but was wondering how much the lower base affects the shot.

So we know Savant, Triple Threat, Chef and 3 Pt Architect are all hovering around the 50k mark and it's not feasible to put the "planes" on all my cards.

So what's the next best thing everyone else is using?

It's endgame so the stat boosts aren't important on these cards, only the takeover.

Is it the "bullseye" ones? (Glass Gunner, Clinic, Offensive Artist and 3 & D)?

Can you imagine going into a bank and having this conversation?

ME: "Here are one hundred $1 bills. Can you give me one $100 bill please?"

BANK TELLER: "Afraid not, sir. You need to give me 5 of those dollars at a time and I will give you back a $5 bill each time"

ME: "OK. I will end up with twenty $5 bills. Can I then exchange those for a $100 bill?"

BANK TELLER (chuckles): "Oh, you silly man. No. You can give me two of them at a time and I will give you back a $10 bill each time."

ME: "So with my ten $10 bills, I can get the Benjamin Franklin?"

BANK TELLER: "You're clearly not getting this. You can give me two $10's and I will give you a $20"

ME: "So my 5 $20 bills can get me the $100 bill?"

BANK TELLER: "Yes. Only because we can't make the twenties fit into a $50 bill and provide you with an extra step of exasperation"

Come on 2k... I should be able to drop 75 gold pieces straight into a Galaxy Opal! No one wants to spend all that time converting up!!!

As the title states, anybody playing on oldgen knows that Collin Sexton upper is the worst in the game and it's now prevalent on all the shiny new GOAT and Invincible cards.

So before wasting the wrong Animation Breaker on GOAT Bernard King or CP3 I was wondering if there were any in the Silver tier that are good on oldgen consoles.

Currently about 25 games from finishing the Gauntlet for the third time (S7 Exchange then the 100 OVR and was going for the second 100 OVR)

I'm not feeling it to finish the 25 games. Does anyone know, from experience, what happens when the new season starts?

I know they changed the Gauntlet a while back to always be season exchange cards. You can exchange one Season Exchange for a Mode Completion (which grants one of the players from the season rewards) and then you can use additional Season Exchange cards from Gauntlet for other prizes. So it's not the Legend Badge of old that still shows when a season changes and it's not reset.

But I currently have Season 7 exchange there. Does anyone know if that will change to Season 8 exchange when the new season starts?

This was a good start, as these historic players were dry in 2K26. What wasn't so good is it was a Tuesday drop that no one opened, except those getting the HOF boxes with unsellable players, so the prices for guys like Unseld and Gilmore are ultra-inflated on the market.

That being said, I have both as PD's and for my All-Time teams that's kind of sufficient.

What we are REALLY in need of are the following legends who were either unrealistic festival rewards or completely RNG.

NB - I've seen both Szczerbiak (T'Wolves) and Van Arsdale (Suns) come in recent drops and that's great, but we need these:

• Clyde Drexler - Come on... #2 all time scorer for the Blazers!
• Elvin Hayes - Top 10 All-Time player for BOTH the Rockets and Wizards and there's been one "useable" Elvin which is a Hidden Gem (I define "useable" loosely as GO and over at this stage)
• Bernard King - come on... we've seen him at the finals a zillion times
• Bob Lanier - Probably the best center to play for the Pistons
• Tiny Archibald - An amethyst? Still? For the first player to lead the NBA in scoring and assists in a season? (well, other than the RNG Hidden Gems)
• Bob Love - Another with just a RNG Hidden Gem
• Jo Jo White - Hidden Gem... seeing a theme yet?
• Dave Cowens - as above!
• George McGinnis - He makes both All-Time Pacers and 76ers teams
• Mel Daniels - Speaking of Pacers...
• Rolando Blackman - He's been mentioned all over the talk shows these days because of the '94 Knicks and he's like second all time scoring for the Mavs
• Dan Issel - Top 3 in Nuggets scoring (may still be 2nd, not sure if Joker passed him this season)
• Fat Lever - Another top 10 Nugget, another Hidden Gem
• Bob Dandridge - Bucks. Again, a Hidden Gem
• Sidney Moncrief - Can we get better than a S2 PD please?
• Geoff Petrie - Started the list with a Blazer, so ending with one too

I'm gonna just go ahead and assume you don't have the rights for these players from All-Time teams since they don't seem to have any cards in the game

• 76ers - Charles Barkley (well we know this), Red Kerr, Andre Iguodala
• Bulls - Chet Walker
• Celtics - Bill Russell (we know this too)
• Clippers - Randy Smith (Leading scorer in Clippers history!)

Posted this a couple years ago, but seeing as they have the Animation Breaker cards now, they are THIS close to implementing my idea from then.

Let's get an Appearance Changer.

I have Hoodie Melo. Grinded since Day 1 for him even through all the REP nerfs.

I HATE his appearance.

I want to play with regular Melo. From the Knicks. I'd love to be able to remove the Hoodie and just have him be the normal version. Headband and #7.

Which brings me to #2. Let's extend Appearance Changers to numbers. I make all-time theme teams every year for every franchise. I wanted James Worthy. I refused to get his college version. His number there was #52. I needed the Lakers one with his number being #42. Give me an Appearance Changer for all the cards that have different jersey numbers to allow options to change them.

So for instance for Carmelo Anthony, you apply a Number Appearance Changer, that can change his Nuggets to a Knicks by having the option to change #15 to #7. In fact, every player who's played with multiple numbers should have their numbers in a picklist (like the animation pick list on the Animation Breaker) for that player. So for Melo, no matter what is originally on the card art, you'd get to choose #7, #15 or #00 (from the Blazers... every other stop he's been either #7 or #15)

For Michael Jordan you'd have #23 and #45. For LeBron you'd get #6 and #23 and more importantly, for me, as a Cavs fan, I could put #0 on Kevin Love since his GO, DM and Invincible all have his Timberwolves #42.

It would make sense. We want to play with the people we know and rooted for. There'd be a hue and cry if Shaq looked like Danny Ferry and they called him "Shaquille O'Neal" and gave him all Shaq's stats. So why is there not a big deal when we get a Knicks Jeremy Lin but with the Charlotte Hornets hairstyle??? I bought and quickly sold his Wild Gems Diamond because of this, and waited to see what his DM looked like on the court (i.e. Knicks hairstyle) before I exchanged for it in the Void Festival.

So there's your other Appearance Changer - hairstyles (or more accurately headstyles!) Let me choose between Kareem's afro or his later Lakers goggles and bald head. Again... pick list. We're not giving Kareem dreadlocks or Steve Nash's hair or anything. Just what they looked like at key points in their career. Miles McBride is another one. He alternates between the afro and the cornrows. Shouldn't we have the option to play with the look we want on the court? It's "My"Team!

It's why I never cared for the Invincible Olympic versions of cards from 2K24... Magic wearing 15... Tatum wearing 10... Tim Duncan wearing 13...

It erodes the realism part of the game. And we know when Shaq is shooting 3's and Curry is dunking on everyone, there's not a whole lot of that left.

Anyway, 2K... go ahead and implement it for 2K27. You're welcome.

Hear me out. Some of the options this round, and some in the past, have been less than perfect.

Would be good if 2K allowed us to exchange the Splash festival pieces for others in the next festival. Obviously not 1:1. Maybe 1 Invincible piece from the last festival exchanges for 1 Dark Matter piece in the next festival.

The main issue is... I'm getting a ton of festival pieces this festival because it's the beginning of the season. Chasing the 250 TT and CT wins... 100 Salary Cap wins... the 13 exchange pieces from Breakout etc.

By the next festival, those things won't be an issue anymore and I'll be getting less festival pieces as the playing just won't be the same volume. Worse still, I'm DM tier, so there's no incentive to play to up my REP.

So I'm kinda hoping that rather than dump all my pieces in the last day of the festival for cards and items I do not want, 2K would allow us to exchange to new festival pieces at whatever conversion they choose.

Anybody see an issue as to why this wouldn't work for both company and consumer?

As the title indicated, is there any rationale to putting takeovers on GOAT players since every stat is already maxed?

Can we get some "names" in here?

I'm pretty sure Javon Small just had to google himself to find out who he is.

Naz Reid, Evan Fournier and Kevin Porter should be the floor of who we get here, not the ceiling.

Meanwhile, still no sign of legends we can obtain past RNG outdated Hidden Gems like Dave Cowens, Elvin Hayes, Jerry West, Tiny Archibald, Sam Jones, Bob Love, Cliff Hagan, Mark Price, Jo Jo White, Bernard King, Gail Goodrich, Rolando Blackman, Dan Issel, Fat Lever, Mel Daniels, Bob Lanier, Dan Majerle, Wally Szczerbiak, Geoff Petrie and Paul Arizin.

I get it... pacck sellers are never free cards, but you don't need to go to the extreme opposite end of the spectrum. I listed 20 guys above who don't move the needle in sales, yet are all All-Star legends that people would prefer to hoop with than Samuel Dalembert and Wesley Johnson.

I mean come on... any fan of the Wizards or Rockets can't make an all-time team without Elvin Hayes! It's bad enough Lakers fans can't use Kobe, but now they can't even get the Logo? Dave Cowens was an MVP! How Celtics fans gonna build an all-time team without him or Sam Jones or Jo Jo White?

Keep your Yaos, Tackos, Ben Simmons, Wembys etc behind multiple paywalls, but let's get some of the other guys for people who just want to actually hoop with people they've read exalted stories of rather than some guy they've never heard of or seen, but happens to be almost 7 feet at the SG position with a cheesy jumpshot.
